"Georgia!" Michael yells from down the hall. He started running towards me, like in one of those romantic comedies. You know, the slow motion run into each others arms. Except this was much more awkward. I was carrying my books and as we ran into each other, I acciedentally stood on his food and he walked backwards, causing not only himself to fall over, but the two people that were standing behind him.

"Sorry!" Michael says, helping the two girls up. They just rolled their eyes, walking away. He frowned, but turned to me and smiled. "Hi Mikey," I laugh. "Awww you guys are so awkward, you're perfect for each other!" Rachel chirped from behind me. I almost forgot she was there. I just smiled, and looked over at Michael who was also smiling like an idiot. "So, I'm done for the day, how many classes do you have left?" Michael asked.

"Umm.." I said, pulling out my schedule. "I'm done for the day too. What about you Rach?" I ask, looking over to Rachel who is still looking for her schedule. As she pulls it out of her folder, she examines it quickly.

"I'm done, but I think I'm just going to head home. I'm not feeling too well," she said, putting her schedule back in her folder.

"Oh okay, do you want me to come with you?" I ask.

"Nah, you can go with Mike. Have fun, you two," She winks, walking away. I just roll my eyes, turning to Michael.

"So, what do you want to do?" I ask, smiling at Michael.

"Actually, I have something planned," he says.

"What is it?" I ask.

"It's a surprise," he smirks.

"I hate surprises," I state.

"Well I think you will like this one," He laughs, grabbing my arm and dragging me to his car.

----------------------------------

After half an hour driving, I groan, turning to Michael. "How much longer?" I ask, leaning against the window.

"Only a few more minutes," He laughs.

I close my eyes, listening to the radio. As I feel the car come to a stop, and I open my eyes, looking around. It was breathtaking. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life. It took us about 45 minutes to get here, but it was definitely worth it.

"What do you think?" Michael asks, looking over at me.

"Wow," I whisper, looking out at the ocean. "How did you find this place?"

"My dad used to take me here when I was little. It's beautiful isn't it?" he smiles.

"It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen," I say, opening my door and jumping out of the car, running down to the water.

"Wait up, George!" He laughs, running after me. I kick my shoes off and roll up my pants as I get closer to the water, running in. Michael does the same, catching up to me quickly. I'm not very athletic, so it really didn't take him much effort. As he reached me, I was already ankle deep in the water. He wrapped his arms around my waist, lifting me into the air. I laughed as he spun me around, releasing me and turning me around to face him. I smile up at him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"This is fun," I smile, looking around.

"It is," He whispers.

My stomach filled with butterflies, I have never felt this way before. I have only known Michael for just over a week, and he has already made me happier than any other boy has in my entire life. He leaned down, looking into my eyes. I felt his hot breathe on my lips, I craved his lips on mine. I felt like if I didn't kiss him I'd die. I smiled, leaning into his chest. He leaned down, attaching his lips to mine ever so slightly. He tightly wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in even closer to him. I smiled into the kiss, moving my lips in sync with his. I wrapped my hands in his hair, tugging slightly. I couldn't get enough of the feeling of his lips on mine, I needed this feeling in my life. I needed Michael in my life. I pulled away, because both of us were out of breathe. I smiled up at him, kissing him quickly on the lips.

"Well. That was better than I have been imagining," He says.

"Thank you?" I laughed, looking down.

"No problem," He smiles, keeping me close to his chest. I duck, getting out of his grasp, splashing him with water.

"You're dead," he smirks, running after me. I scream, running away from him. He splashes me multiple times, hoisting me over his shoulder and walking further and further out into the water.

"Michael Clifford don't you dare," I say sternly. He just laughes, dropping me into the water. I lift my head up, coughing my ass off. I struggle to keep myself afloat as I cough, so Michael grabs me and I wrap my legs around his torso.

"You suck," I laugh.

-----------------------------

"So..." Michael says.

"So..." I laugh, rolling over on the picnic blanket. I look out to the ocean, watching as the sky turns blood red. It's absolutely breathtaking.

"There's something I've been meaning to ask you.." Michael trails off, looking out at the ocean. I turn my head to face him, watching his perfect features turn from a blank face to a smile, as he turns his head back to face me.

"Spit it out" I laugh, rolling so that I'm closer to him.

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asks. My heart flutters as I sit up, smiling the biggest smile I can muster.

"Wait....Michael, we've only known each other for like a week and a half....." I say, thinking about this logically. I doubt that a relationship that starts so early will end well, I just don't want to loose Michael. Because even though I've only known him, like I said, for just over a week, I don't want to loose him. Because I know that loosing him will hurt.

"I know. But it feels like I've known you my whole life. George, I honestly don't know what I've been doing without you. You're so funny, and kind, and sarcastic which I absolutely love and admire. No matter how shitty my day has been, when I see your face, it just makes the hurt go away. You're so beautiful inside and out, and even though you don't think so, I promise, if you let me, I will make you see yourself through my eyes. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, and I want to make you see that. And if you say no, that is in no way going to lessen my attraction to you. We don't have to go fast, we can take things slow. But all I know is that I need you in my life. Please?"

I smile, wiping away the tears that just escaped my eyes. I never would have dreamed that someone like MIchael would like me the way I like him, the only time I have ever fallen in love was with someone that didn't even know of my existance. I never would have thought that he would think of me like that. I know that this probably isn't the smart thing to do, but right now I couldn't give a fuck about what is smart.

"Yes" I smile, crawling over to him and kissing him. This kiss wasn't like the last kiss. The last kiss was gentle, as if we were both scared that if we were rough with each other one of us would break. This kiss was full of passion, desire, and... something else. I don't know what it is, but you know when people say they feel fireworks when they're kissing someone? I've never really understood what that meant until now. It's like, there's something going off inside your brain that scares you but it's so beautiful. Like it shouldn't be happening, and you don't know how it's happening, but it's just so breathtaking. It sounds like gunshots, which is scary, but you don't care. Because you know it can't hurt you. That's what this kiss felt like. Fireworks.
