"Mum!" I squeal as my mum bolds up the stairs to my apartment building with out stretched arms. I run into them, not even caring that we both almost fell down the stairs as a result.

"Georgia!" She says with excitement, squeezing me so tight that I find it hard to breathe. I pull back slightly, looking at her face and noticing that her eyes were glossy and she was starting to sniffle.

"Mum, don't cry. If you cry, I'll cry," I say, starting to tear up.

"I'm sorry," She sighs happily, wiping under my eyes and then under her own eyes, before breaking into a huge smile.

"So this is where you live?"

"Yeah, Rachel and I moved in here in, what, Janurary?" I question my mother. She nods in response, following me to the door of my apartment.

"Michael lives here too, now. So money isn't a problem," I muffle, swinging the door open and walking inside, holding it open for my mother.

"Michael, eh?" She says, raising an eyebrow at me. "How is he?"

"He's good," I smile. "He's still asleep, on holidays he becomes nocturnal," I say, rolling my eyes.

"You used to do that," She points out.

"Yeah, but I didn't play online video games and request nachos 24/7" I chuckle, sitting down at the table and pulling the chair next to me out for my mother.

"He seems like a lovely boy, George. I think you've got yourself a keeper."

"Yeah, I think so too. But it hasn't always been easy..."

"Go on," She says, smiling at me.

"Uh, do I have to?" I groan.

"I am your mother and I am great at advice giving, spill."

"Well, when we first got together, we spent a lot of time with each other. Like, we were with each other all the time. We fell in love very quickly, but I guess that was expected since we spent every second with each other. I think it only took a few months? Anyway, things were great, he's funny and stupid and sarcastic so it was what I was used to; it was like living at home. Which was good, because I was and still am home sick. When everything with Jack happened, he was so kind and understanding which really helped. But, we started to become kind of tense with each other. He thought because I loved him and everything I was some kind of trophy he would wave around. Which I was fine with, but we got in a fight when he called me his doll or something? I don't know, and then he kissed someone else at a club and that really wasn't his fault but things were going bad. So I spent some time away from him until I was sure I could forgive him, which didn't take long because our relationship seems to move very fast. And then he started to grow distant, and he was texting some girl and I broke up with him and we both kind of went crazy, he went to a crack house and I, uh, I drank a lot and was extra mean to Rachel and Luke who I love so much and I still feel kind of bad for so. And then when Michael was in hospital we just knew that we were stuck with each other, because I loved him too much to ever let him go," I say, taking in a sharp breathe as all the memories flash through my mind. "But there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is the one. You know, the one. I really love him. And he made some mistakes, and he knows that, but he's a good person and he makes me the happiest person on Earth."

We sat in silence for a minute, my mum trying to process everything I had just told her.

"Wow, you really love him, don't you?"

"More than anything," I say, sighing happily.

"Well, every relationship has their ups and downs, George. Your father and I didn't always have a fantastic relationship, we broke up once."

"Seriously?" I question.

"Yep, we were both so young when we met, of coarse one of us was going to do something stupid and break up for a while. But I think what really matters is if you can bounce back and see past their flaws and love them with everything you've got."

"Yeah..." I say. "Thanks mum, this was nice."

"It was, I have been waiting to share my relationship wisdom with you."

"Well congrats, now you can check that off your bucket list."

"Maybe I will," She says with a smile, chuckling quietly.

"Do you want to come and see Jack?"

"Of course I do, what kind of question is that?"

"A reasonable one."

"Well, yes I do. Michael requested that I woke him when I was going to see Jack so hold on," I say, walking into our room and jumping up on the bed. Michael was sprawled out across the bed with his hair messily flopped on the pillow and his lips parted slightly, as he breathed slowly. I smile, walking over to him and standing over him with one leg on either side of his body.

"Mikey," I giggle, tucking my legs up and falling onto Michael's chest, causing him to let out a loud groan. "Wakey, wakey, sunshine."

"Georgia," He groans, fluttering his eyes open and looking up at me sleepily.

"Hi," I smile, kissing his lips softly. "I'm going to see Jack, did you still want to come?"

"Yeah, yeah, of course. Just let me have a quick shower and I'll be ready," He says, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Okay," I say, beginning to remove myself from Michael's lap, but before I can he grabs my waist, squeezing my butt gently.

"Don't leave yet," He pouts. "Morning sex always puts me in a good mood, and I don't want to be cranky in front of your family," He smirks, attaching his lips to my collar bone, biting down on it gently. I bite my lip to stop myself from moaning, pulling his face back and laughing quietly.

"Well, if you don't want my mum to be cranky, maybe you shouldn't fuck her daughter while she is waiting in the other room."

"Fuck, your mum is here?" He questions, widening his eyes at me.

"Yep, so go have a shower, you smell."
