"Hey Georgie?"

"Hm," I say, looking up at Michael from my position, lying in his lap.

"How long have we been together?"

"Uh," I say, doing the math in my head. "We got together last March and it's almost Christmas so 9 months."

"If you got pregnant by looking at me we would have a baby," He says, which causes me to burst into laughter.

"What is wrong with you?"

"So many things, babe."

"What do you want for Christmas?"

"I want you, naked on my bed with nothing but a bow on."

"Maybe not," I say, rolling my eyes. "What do you actually want?"

"I don't care, really. As long as you're with me," He says, shrugging.

"Mikey, how romantic," I giggle, poking his ribs.

"Not really, I just don't want to be alone."

"Michael.." I frown, adjusting my position and wrapping my arms around his torso, pressing a kiss to it gently. He sighs, wrapping his arms around my body and planting a kiss on my forehead, resting his chin on top of my head.

"It's okay babe. I'd rather spend my day with you anyway," He chuckles. "I always hated my family."

"Why? They seem delightful," I say sarcastically, causing Michael to chuckle.

"Shut up," he says, rolling his eyes.

"I'm joking baby," I giggle, kissing his cheek.

"I know, but seriously, anything you get me I will love."

"Okie dokie," I say, standing up.

"You know you pretty much live with us?"

"Huh?" Michael questions.

"You sleep here, you eat here, we take it in turns taking Matilda to do her business and you have a key," I say, rolling my eyes. "Now all we need to do is put you on the lease."

"Okay," He shrugs, turning his attention to his phone.

"What?"

"I'll move in then, I mean, if that's all good with you."

I stand there in shock at his casualness about moving in. After about a minute of me staring at him with my mouth gaped open, he looks up at me and furrows his eyebrows.

"What?"

"You want to move in?" I question, as if it wasn't true and I imagined him saying it.

"Yeah, I mean, I do pretty much live here."

"You're not going to run off or something because of your fear of commitment?"

"No," He giggles. "I have no where to run off to."

"That's true, you have no friends."

"Harsh."

"I love you," I giggle, pulling him up from the couch and giving him a giant hug.

"I love you more."

"That's impossible," I gasp. "I definitely love you more."

"No you don't!" He exclaims. "I love you more than anyone in the entire universe!"

"Well so do I," I reason, smiling at him. "I love you."

"And I love you, Georgia Noble."

And in that moment, I knew that Michael was not only my first love, he would be my last. No matter what happened, I would always love this tall dork who thinks he is punk rock but he really just resembles a kitten with no hair.
