"Happy Birthday!" Michael screams in my ear, sitting on my chest. I cough, pushing him off me laughing.
"Thanks," I smile, shrugging casually. "Please don't feel the need to take me anywhere fancy. It's not a monumental birthday, I'm 19. I'm already legal and stuff."
"Shut up," He groans, crawling on top of me and planting a long kiss on my lips. I hum, letting him work his way down my neck to my collar bone.
"Is this why you woke me?" I giggle, threading my fingers through his hair.
"I saw some study that said sex in the morning puts you in a good mood," He says, pulling away and pressing his lips to my nose. "And that's exactly what I want to do, baby."
"You really didn't need to wake-"
"Shut up," He giggles, kissing me hard into the bed.
-------
"Morning," I smile, giddy from the great birthday sex I just had. Rachel jumps up from the couch, running over to me about to hug me and suddenly pulling back, making a face at me.
"I'm not touching you until you shower, you guys could have waited until I wasn't home!" She says, making a gagging noise.
"Sorry, wasn't my idea," I smile, looking up at Michael who was smiling cheekily with his hand resting on my hip.
"Gross," She mutters, squeezing her eyes shut. "Whatever, what do you want to do today?"
"What I usually do. Nothing," I laugh, rolling my eyes.
"Georgie, it's your birthday!" Rachel whines, pouting at me. "We have to do something!"
"Fine, what do you suggest?"
"I don't know, what do you want to do?"
"I don't care."
"You're impossible," Rachel groans, throwing her hands up in the air. "Michael, you said you wanted her to yourself tonight, didn't you?"
"Yes please," He smiles, kissing my temple.
"Well then we have to do something now, George, right? How about we go out for breakfast?"
"That sounds good," I shrug. "As long as you're paying."
"It's your birthday, of course I will pay!" She giggles. "Be ready in half an hour?"
"Okay," I say, yawning quietly. "We'll see. As long as I don't fall asleep as soon as I get back into my room."
"Well if you do we can have lunch instead," She giggles, walking into her room and closing the door quietly.
--------
Turns out I was more tired than I thought. As soon as I got back into my room, I flopped face first onto the bed and slept for another 3 hours. By the time I got myself out of bed and ready, it was 2 o'clock, so Rachel and I decided to have a late lunch.
Most of it consisted of Rachel telling me to be more excited about it being my birthday. But I don't know, this birthday is just like every other birthday. It's just average. There's nothing special about it, I'm just getting older. I don't see why Rachel is making such a huge deal about it. She bought me lunch, as well as an expensive shirt I said I liked but didn't buy because it was too expensive. That was nice, but again, I don't see what the big fuss about birthdays it.
Michael still hasn't given me my present, he said to wait until dinner. I hope he just buys pizza and we eat it on the couch or something, I don't really like fancy resturants. I just hate the rude rich people who think they're better than everyone else just because they have money.
