Sunday was a pretty lazy day to be honest. I spent most of my day obssessing over my upcoming first day of school tomorrow so I picked out my favorite outfit combo...not exactly a huge selection but I settled for the white button down top, navy blue tartan skirt, "nude" panty hose, small heels,and a Navy cardigan.
Someone in the house staff made sure that everything was pressed and wrinkle free so I had extra time to get a quick run in.
I had only shifted a few months ago, but it was always so freeing to just let my wolf out and run.
There was no rhyme or reasoning for why it felt so good to be in wolf form except that I was truly most free when I ran.
It was much cooler up here and my wolf relished the frigid air. It was still mid September and I was grateful the weather hadn't gotten truly cold yet.
I finally got my fill of freedom when the temperature dropped as evening rolled around and I went back inside.
I took a shower and afterward I put some products into my hair as I would be keeping my natural hair down, this would help me keep it managable.
I pulled on my favorite night shirt and pulled out my cellphone. I set my alarms and soon I was in bed for the evening.

I groaned at the sound of my alarm going off.
I hit snooze and went back to sleep.
Two more alarms later I finally got up and now I was rushing.
I opted to skip breakfast so I had time to put some make-up on.
Once in my uniform I was looking for my bag when a knock sounded on my bedroom door.
My wolf grew anxious, and I knew it was because of the unknown day ahead.
She was hyper...almost excitable but now wasn't the time for a run.
I finally reached the door and had to cach my self as I was now staring at one of the hottest guys.
I could tell he was one of my brother's guys with his broad shoulder and muscular build. His fiery red hair and beard were super attractive and only emphasized by a very sexy grin.
'MATE'
I smiled "Good morning."
Even I could hear the dreamy like quality of my words.
"It is now." He sounded, his smile still etched on his face. "Raven Archer." "
To say I was attracted to my new found mate was an understatement. The sound of his voice made shivers run down my spine...then it registered, he is American...and southern at that.
This must be the new Beta, and he was definitely someone I did not know. Then again I've practically lived at the school a majority of my life.
"Your brother said you needed a lift to school...I'm Ryland Barbarossa by the way." He said as he held his hand out to me.
I placed my hand in his and felt as my entire body was enveloped with electrical currents beginning to tie us together.
I took a step in towards him and he brought his other hand up to caress my face. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against his large hand.
Okay so I get that I'm officially meeting this guy for the first time...but damn was I drawn to him.
When I opened my eyes all I could see was him. His greenish hazel eyes sparkled, light little freckles dusted his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.
