"Did you have sex with my sister?" Royce asked, he was mere inches away from my face, his eyes angry and I can tell he was ready to shift at any moment.
I shook my head carefully and he backed up a bit, "I told you man...Raven is my mate, but I understand and respect that she's your sister and I told you I wouldn't force her to do anything she was uncomfortable doing...plus we're still trying to get to know each other and that's sufficently awkward as it is."
"Sorry." He sighed before he moved to take his seat behind his desk. "It's none of my business...something Raven, Alexia, and Aunt Nat have more than pointed out to me...I'm really trying Bro...But she's my baby sister."
"I get it, and I can only tell you that I wouldn't do anything to disrespect her...and I sure as shit would never ask her to do something she was uncomfortable with, I'm kind going off her through this whole thing, I really don't want to overwhelm her in any way man."
"Alright moving on, We have a meeting with a couple of Alpha's in neighboring territories, This is going to be our first offical meeting as Alpha and Beta...it'll be here on our lands but we are going to hold the meeting at a manor my family owns specifically for these things."
"Cool, whats the meeting for?"
"Alliances, apparently there was murky waters between my uncle and these two but now that he's not the Alpha anymore, we're hoping for an alliance since the three of our packs are right near each other, something that could be benifical to all parties involved...also we have to meet with the council about having my sister transfer over, if worse comes to worse she'd have to go back to Silver Junction."
I nodded. "So when's the meeting?"
"Tomorrow, but we're taking off as soon as we wrap up here..." He said with an apologetic sort of look, "And I know it's not ideal but we won't be coming back until we've reached an agreement wethe it's good or bad."
I sighed but nodded my head, I am the Beta after all so Duty before pleasure.
"Sorry about that...trust me, Alexia's on my back about being away so long too...but hey give Ray a call and I'm sure she'll understand."
"Two problems...shes in school and can't use her phone, plus...I don't have her number."
He chuckled, "I'll text it to you but I have to get going, gotta pick up my suitcase and tell Alexia i'm taking off, and don't worry my Aunt's picking her up from school and then the girls will hangout while we're gone."

RAVEN
When Class let out I was excited because I knew Ryland would be waiting for me looking handsome as ever wearing that sneaky smirk of his.
I rushed to the lockers and put my books away, glad that school was over for the day and happy that I was about to see my mate, I waved at a girl I had for a couple of classes and she smiled and waved back.
I let myself out of the ancient school and practically pranced down the steps as I made my way to the front of the school.
But oddly enough Ryland wasn't there, nor was the car he was issued.
I looked around before a flash of red hair caught my eye, I smiled and it faltered only slightly upon seeing that it wasn't Ryland but in fact Natalie.
I walked over and she pulled me into a tight hug as if she hadn't seen me at dinner only the night before.
"The boys had to go away on Business and I've been tasked to picked you up this afternoon." She said before smiling again, "Alexia is working, alongside my mother in law on the presenting as well...So I guess we can have a gals date, just the two of us."
