It was a gloomy and frosty Monday morning. Students were rushing to school, men and women going to work. It looked like it was going to rain, which made me contemplate on whether to go to lesson or not.
I checked the time on my phone and it read 7:17am. I stood up from the bed, grudgingly, and went to have my bath. After I was done with that, of course I wore my neatly ironed clothes that were placed on my bed. I also applied a little make up, which made me look, should I say, take away.
I was putting on a black tight shirt and a high-waist jean trouser, which revealed my curves. I rapped it up with a black bowler hat, a brown muffler and a black cowboy boot, so as just to be cordial.
I checked out my self in the mirror and smiled, ready to zoom off to lesson.
On my way to the lesson, the weather turned suddenly, from a gloomy one to a happy one.
"Good morning sir." I greeted the security man, who was looking at me flirtatiously.
"Fine girl. How are you?" He smiled broadly at me.
"I'm fine." I smiled back. I liked the man. He was funny and free to be with.
"This one that you are wearing London's cloth. Hope there's no problem."
"Haha." Shey na only London people dey dress like this? "No, there's no problem. I just felt like I should try something unique and different today. Don't you like it?" I quizzed. My eyebrows were placed in fraction.
"Ah! I don't like it, I love it!" We both laughed.
"Good morning." A masculine voice said, from behind me. I turned back to look at the person that spoke. Lo and behold, it was Benjamin. I froze at the spot I was standing. I didn't know if to greet him or to run away or just stand there, admiring his looks.
He looked so handsome, with his fresh hair he just recently cut and his wet pink lips. He smelled so nice, that I wanted to stay glued to him for the rest of the day. He was just so perfect in my eyes.
"Goo..."
"Ah, finest boy in this lesson. How are you?" The security man cut me off.
"I'm fine." Benjamin smiled to the man, displaying his perfectly white teeth. His smile made my heart melt. It felt as though he was smiling at me.
"Sorry, please excuse me. Can I have your pen?" He turned to look at me, searching his pockets, probably to get a pen for himself.
We were so close that I could feel our hands slightly touching each other.
"Oh," I placed my hand in the pocket of my trouser and brought out a pen. "You can have it."
I shifted a little, so he could sign his name down on the book.
After he was done signing, he returned the pen to me and exited to the class, without turning back or saying 'thank you.' Such an ass hole!
At the moment, I regretted giving him my pen. I wished I could turn back the hands of time, but it was too late. The did had been done.
"You are not signing again? Since you're standing here with me. Though, I like it." The security man winked at me, but I was too, should I say angry or disappointed to consider what he did, funny to me. So I gave him the silent treatment.
