Another, should I say, dramatic day at lesson.
I arrived at lesson quite late and Joy was around already, so I went to sit with her. She told me the reason why she wasn't at lesson yesterday and we talked about some other things.
Time seemed to be flying because it was already thirty minutes after I got to lesson, but it seemed as though I'd spent just ten or fifteen minutes seated.
Whilst Joy and I were conversing, Benjamin and his friends, which we all know are Chuka and Faith, strolled in and that caught our attention. As soon as Joy sighted Benjamin, she started to hyperventilate and her eyes, gazing at him dreamily which made me roll my eyes.
Unexpectedly, Benjamin was strutting towards my direction probably to say 'hi' but Chuka was faster.
"Hey Ruby." Chuka stood in front of me, blocking my view from Benji.
"Chuks! Hi." I sounded extremely disappointed.
"Did I interrupt anything?" He raised an eyebrow, with a confused smile. Okay, he noticed my disappointed tone.
"No, you did not." I feigned a smile.
"Okay. I'll talk to you later." He said smiling, before leaving.
"No problem." I murmured and looked straight at Benjamin. He stood there staring at me, hurtfully. Instantly, I felt an increase in my blood pressure. I didn't know why, I guess I felt bad and might I add, nervous.
He kept on staring at me until finally, he smiled sincerely and waved at me, winking also. Thank goodness! I sighed in relieve, assuring the fact that he wasn't angry.
"Oh my God!" I looked at Joy touching her chest and staring at Benji dreamily. "My dream boy." I choked at the disgusting way she said it.
"No, it's my dream and not yours. Go and dream of yours." I widened my eyes, suddenly realising what I had just mistakenly blurted out.
"Sorry?" She gave me a confused and displeasing look.
"Huh..I..I was...I was only mimicking you. You said he was your dream boy, so I mimicked saying, so he is your dream boy and what about me, don't I get to have a dream boy?" I said seriously.
"Haha, silly you." She looked doubtless, which made me satisfied. "Don't worry, you will get yours pretty soon." She smirked, rolling her eyes. Or you will get yours very soon.
Time seemed to be waiting for no one today. It was break time already and half of the class were out.
"Hey. Do you mind going out with me for break?" My heart banged at the sound of his voice. Yeah, it was Benjamin standing before me.
I looked at him to see him smirking expensively at me. "Huh..." I looked at Joy who was looking at me confusedly yet, unpleasing. "I..shit!" I muttered.
"Look, it's fine if you don't wanna come with me. I'd just hangout with the usuals." He laid emphasis on the last word. His bag was hung on just one shoulder making him look dashingly hot. He was putting on a black hood and a black jean trousers. As usual, his outfits were always looking perfect on him.
"No no no..!" He stopped halfway at the sound of my voice and turned to look at me. "I..look, don't take it the other way. Not like I don't wanna follow you, but..you know, I gat to follow my friend." I pointed at Joy. "Maybe some other time." I added and he nodded.
"What was all that?!" She spat as soon as Benji left. I expected it though.
"Look Joy, it's not what you think..."
