Dallas
I wake up this morning, still in Caelyn's room, holding her in my arms. I have never in my life felt more at peace.
I look at this beautiful girl, who is sleeping soundly in my arms. She looks even more beautiful.
Her eyelids slowly flutter open, and I look into her eyes lovingly.
"Hey, Dallas."
She's blushing fiercely, and I give her little butterfly kisses all over her face and neck.
"Good... morning... angel."
She smiles.
"Good morning, my knight in shining armor."
"So are we a thing now?" I seem so timid when he asks this.
"Of course not, silly. You haven't taken me on a date yet. Only then will we be officially a thing."
I laugh at her comment.
"Okay, hows tonight sound, say around seven?"
Now it's her turn to laugh. "Somebody's in a rush I see."
"I've been in a rush since we were thirteen." I can tell she's getting excited.
"That sounds lovely to me, Dallas. See you at seven then." After she says this, CaelynI immediately jumps up, and ushers me out of her room.
"Hey! Wait! I didn't"t mean it that way!"
"See you at seven, pretty boy."
"Ahhh come on darlin' let me in." My drawl comes out really thick when I say this.
"Nope. I'm not budging, and by the way, I hope you pick me up on time." She giggles at the last part.
I sigh realizing there is no way she is gonna let me back in, and walk back to my dorms. Last night I just ran here as fast as I could, no time to go searching for my car keys.
As I'm walking back, I see the spawn of the Devil, Liv.
"So I haven't been able to figure out the girl that stole you from me. Want to give me any hints, Dallas?"
"First of all Liv, no one stole me from you, I broke up with you cause I couldn't stand your bitchyness anymore. Second, I'm not gonna give you any hints."
"Don't call me a bitch! I will find her Dallas. Do you understand?"
She huffs out the last part and stomps away.
****
When I get back to my dorm later, I take a nap.
Not much longer after that, I realize it's six and my date is at seven.
"Shit, shit, shit!" I scramble around, running into my bathroom to take a shower.
After I get out, I grab a t-shirt and a pair of jeans.
I text Caelyn shortly after this.
Dress comfortable darlin'
She quickly taps back a response.
Will you finally tell me where and what we are doing?
I laugh at her question.
Of course not, now where's the fun in that?
She doesn't reply and I continue to get ready. I get in my car and get ready to pick up my girl for a wonderful first date.
