Miko P.O.V.
I spun in my dad's office chair as he paced throughout the room. "What do you mean Y'all have to expel my son!?" He yelled into the phone. "The video clearly shows those boys jumping him. It's not his fault they got their asses kicked for picking on the wrong kid." He hissed at who I guess to be principle Roach as I call her. "He was jumped by 5 boys. Was he just suppose to take the beating? God! Shut the Fuck Up! Expect a lawsuit on your hands' assholes." He yelled hanging up the phone.
"I knew I should've just kept you in private school." He growled pinching the bridge of his nose. "Dad, I'm fine. I just have a busted cheek and knuckles." I said trying to calm him down.
I'm Miko Midnight, son of one of the original CEO of Voodoo enterprise. He sold his half a while ago and is now the CFO. My dad has been here since the beginning and today was suppose to be his 25th anniversary with the company. But it turned into him suing my school. These five boy's who have had a problem with me being openly gay that they jumped me in an empty hallway. I was walking down the hallway heading to my first class when 2 of them stepped out in front of me and 3 behind me. 2 others had their phones out recording the whole thing.
Which I have both video's on my phone now. The one who I think is the leader of the group started talking which pissed me off. "Hey, Faggot. Why can't you just kill yourself so other's don't have to deal with you?" His words meant nothing to me though. "'Cause I'm amazing in bed, just ask your dad." I snapped back with zero interest. "God. You're disgusting." And after that, he launched his first attack missing.
I've been taking karate for 8 years, so no one can take me down. He only landed one punch when he swung around before I could fully turn to face him again as his hand was behind me. All his buddies joined in afterwards and I ended up breaking, 2 noses, 3 arms, a jaw, and a hand. After I had all of them on the floor a teacher had entered the hallway after calling security. I was expelled for causing damage to school property and injuring to another student. And since then, I've been to the doctor, police station, and nowhere.
"You're not fine. You have a swollen cheek and you'll have a scar under your eye because of it." He said touching my sore face. "Ow. Dad watch where you touch. I'm alive, so there's no need to worry." I said looking at him with a serious expression. "I'm gonna go get food from the break room. Is the new boss here today? I still want to meet him." I asked changing the subject. From what I've heard around he's hot, young and Hawaiian. He took over his dad's half of the business a couple of months ago and his uncle owns the other half.
"I don't know. He likes to work from home." He answered still looking stressed. "Calm your shit, old man," I said patting his back as I left his office. "Language, Miko." He called out after me making me laugh. I skipped down the hall seeing some old and new faces. Most were delivering papers which I've learned usually just end up in a box in the basement.
So many of the new faces were young people. Everyone use to old or middle-aged cause they were the original staff. This new CEO must really want to change things around here. First, he started with people in the mail room and then worked up. Now he renovating parts of the building and changing all the paint. The place was no longer blue and white. it was Scarlett and grey. He ruining my childhood playground. He has even moved departments around so lately I've been lost when I come here.
I swung around the corner slamming into something that felt like a brick wall. "Fuck. Shit. Ow." I said really fast holding my cheek. Did they put up a construction wall? I didn't look up to check I just looked at my hand seeing blood. "Goddamn-it. I just got it to stop bleeding." I said to myself. I shot my head up hearing the sound of someone clearing their throat.

RomanceI dropped the documents as I stared wide-eyed at Mr Voodoo. "You can't fire my father," I said my jaw dropping. "You weren't supposed to hear that." He replied looking up from his desk. "Of course I wasn't but you can't fire my dad," I said walking...
