One Time Isn't Enough

Chapter 21

Miko P.O.V.

I had greeted grandma who hugged me. "Why are you yelling? The Snowballs aren't even here yet?" I asked sitting on the couch. "I'm getting my voice ready. They are too young to be breaking rules like that. At least you waited till your junior year to do stupid stuff but freshman year oh no they're getting it worse then you did," She said making me laugh.

"Miko, your phones going off," Lucas said. I pulled it out seeing Luci was calling me. "Did you get them?" I asked answering the phone. 'I did but Maki was fighting that Theo boy while Mika was crying on the grass and I can't get him to stop crying and his in the back of my car having a meltdown and he smells like a distillery." He said wailing cries being heard in the background. "Is that your dad pulling up?" He asked a few seconds later.

"Probably, I had called him first but since we leave far out I didn't think he'd get there before they decided to leave and go somewhere else. Thank you for going to get them,"

"No problem, It's your dad I'm gonna go. I'll most likely be at your house in a few, Bye." He said hanging up before I could respond to him.

We all waited in the living room for Dad to get back with the Snowballs the tension had risen in the room now that grandma was in parenting mode and ready to yell her head off. I saw the headlights of the car pulling down the drive from the living room window. When the front door opened grandmas voice rung loudest.

"MIKA MOON MIDNIGHT, MAKI MARCUS MIDNIGHT!" She yelled. "You two are in big trouble!" You could hear the anger yet she was calmly looking. Maki walked into the living room with his head down but you could see his busted knuckles. He was stumbling as he made his way to the couch sitting down waiting patiently.

Luci came in next waving with a flat smile. Mika came in hiccuping, his eyes red and cheeks puffy. He ignored grandma wrapping his arms around me.

Time Skip

I woke up stretching texting Daddy good morning as I got up to pee. I work my way out of my room trying not to wake Mika and Maki up who I had sleep in my room cause I didn't trust them to stay on their stomachs the whole night.

I walked out of the bathroom drying my hands on my shirt as I walked to the kitchen to get some food since I was hungry. No the house was quiet since it was 7 am and no one normal would be awake this early after what happened last night. I grabbed the yoghurt from the fridge putting cereal in it before grabbing a spoon and slowly eating it.

I made my way to the Snowballs room to see if Lucas was awake. He and Luci had stayed the night not wanting to drive home at 2 am. They were both still asleep so I went to the living room turning on the tv watching Animal Planet.

I eat my yoghurt slowly enjoying the calmness of the house while it lasted cause once grandma was awake it was clean, clean, clean, and repeat. I grabbed my phone hearing it dings telling me Daddy texted back.

Daddy ~ 'Good Morning, Baby boy. Why are you up so early with how late you were up last night?'

Me~ 'I rarely ever sleep past 7:30. It doesn't matter when I go to bed at. '

Daddy~ 'So what happened after you got home? What's gonna happened with your brothers?'

Me~ 'Grandma yelled. Dad yelled. I yelled. Mika and Maki cried. Dad, suppose to decide what he is gonna do today after they're no longer out of it but I suspect that their phones will be blocked from doing anything besides calling me or him. all their stuff like, laptops, gaming systems, books, skateboards, and tv privileges cause that's what happened when I did it.'

Daddy~ 'Is that all?'

me~ 'Most likely not. They'll probably not be able to go anywhere for a while and he might postpone them getting their licensing as punishment.'
