Miko P.O.V.
I stood in the shower as the hot water ran over my body. I had about an hour before I had to be at the office. This was my place to think. I sighed loudly as I pushed my wet hair out of my face. "I wonder what he wants me to do?" I wondered to myself. I turned the water to cold to get my mind awake and on track. "Shit. That's colder than I thought it would be. "Maybe. He doesn't want to do what I think he wants to do. What if he just wants to see my body, Yea. Less sexual than what I've been thinking since last night.
I jumped hearing a loud knock on the bathroom door. "Miko if you want to come to work with me you need to get out of the shower now!" Dad called through the door. "Okay!" I yelled turning off the water. "Dear Lord, please help me," I whispered to myself as I got out wrapping a towel around my bottom half. I headed out of the bathroom crossing the hall to my bedroom. I Closed my door walking to my bed which was across from my door and had my clothes laid out nicely.
My room was grey and blue themed. I had a large window behind my light grey bed that let a lot of natural light in. My nightstand on the left side of my bed and a door to the balcony on the right. My dresser was on the wall to the right and my closet on the left with my shoe rack just outside of the door. I didn't have a large room as most people expect. I liked my living space to be small. Large just makes it feel empty. The only extra space was where my Bean bag went when it couldn't be outside on my balcony. My walls were royal blue and cover in some random art pieces and family photos.
I threw my black jeans and my Dan and Phil fandom shirt. I pulled my socks on and then pulled my combat boots on. I grabbed my phone and my leaf green jacket and headed downstairs seeing dad sitting on the couch. "Ready," I said tying the jacket around my waist. He stood up brushing 'dirt' of his suit. I chuckled rolling my eyes as I headed out to the car. I jumped in the passenger side. As he locked the front door and jumping in the car pulling out of the driveway.
"Want to get Coffee on the way there?" He asked pulling onto the main road. "Sure. Starbucks?" I said looking over at the time seeing I had 45 minutes to get to Mr Voodoo's office. 'If ya want." He replied stopping halfway from the office pulling into the Starbucks parking lot. "Same as always?" He asked stopping just before the the the speaker. There wasn't a line cause all them basic white girls are at work or school. I nodded my head and he pulled up the rest of the way.
"Welcome to Starbucks, what can I get you?" The speaker hummed. "A venti Vanilla bean frappe with extra caramel and A venti iced coffee with milk. Please and Thank you," he orders listening to the total before pulling up to the window. He handed her $20 and told her to keep the change. "Thank you. Your drinks will be ready in a few minutes." She smiled closing the window. I pulled my phone out starting to play words with friends. I know none of the people I'm playing with but that's not the point.
I moved my legs to sit crises cross. "Here you go, sir." I hear the barista whisper something to dad making him chuckle as she handed him the drinks. "I will. Thank you." He took the drinks setting them in the cup holder before pulling out of the drive-thru and back onto the main road. "What was so funny?" I asked picking my drink up sipping it. I gagged realizing I had grabbed dad's bitter ass iced coffee. "See, you need to look at what you're doing boy and she put her number on your cup and told me not to tell you till we pulled away." He said taking his coffee out of my hands taking a big gulp of it.
"Gross. and I'll just not text her." I said referring to his coffee as I grabbed mine this time drinking it to wash away the taste of his. "Do whatever you please," he said watching the road. I jolted forward almost dropping my drink. "JESUS!" I yelled letting my phone falling out of my hands. "Watch were ya fuckin' going asshat!" dad yelled at the car that pulled in front of us for no reason. When the car finally pulled out from in front of us dad speed past them flipping them off as just before he pulled into the office parking garage.
