Miko P.O.V.
I laid on the couch watching episode after episode of Doctor Paul not realizing it was time to to get ready to go out to eat till dad yelled for the snowballs to come up the stairs from the basement to get ready for dinner. I rolled off the couch yawned as I walked to my room looking through my closet for something I wanted to wear. I pulled out a white button-up shirt setting it on my bed as I grabbed black dress pants from my closet. I looked through my shoes picking out converse to wear with my outfit.
I set it all on my bed grabbing underwear throwing them on the bed too. I went into the bathroom taking a quick shower washing my hair before heading back into my room. I closed my bedroom door dropping my towel pulling on the new pair of underwear.
I jumped hearing my bedroom door open followed by grandma's voice, "Are you getting ready sweetie?" She asked smiling at me with her eyes closed. "Yes, ma'am," I answered feeling the need to cover my body but I was frozen in place.
she opened her eyes gasping loudly. "Miko, Jesus, baby, what happened to you!?" She asked walking over to me lifting my arms up to look at the bruises on my hips.
"Grandma, it's not anything serious," I said stepping back from her grabbing my button up shirt pulling it on to cover myself. "Honey it looks like your being abused. Tell me what happened right now?" She ordered.
"Grandma, it's not abuse, if I wanted it," I said without thinking immediately regretting the words as soon as I felt her smack my shoulder. "Carol get in here now!" She yelled standing there with her arms crossed angrily.
I buttoned up my shirt quickly to cover my body. My dad does not need to see the hickeys all over my body that is justing going to be weird. I stood in my room my arms crossed as my dad walked in with a confused look on his face.
"What do you need, mom?" He asked tying his tie to his suit as he walked the rest of the way into the room looking between the both of us. "Your son is covered in bruises," she hissed pointing at me.
"It's nothing, I did not want. She acts like I'm being abused," I argued. Dad just looked between the both of us a couple of time before sighing. "Mom, out please," dad asked rubbing the stubble of his beard. She left the room closing the door behind her as dad stood there staring at me.
"What is she talking about?" he asked
I bite my lip opening and closing my mouth not knowing what do say but I just sighed lifting up my shirt just to show the ones on my hips. "She's upset cause I have these from when I did, the you know what with you know who," I said letting my shirt fall after he looked back up at me.
He nodded his head and turned around. "I'll tell ya, grandma, I'll handle it later. Learn to lock your door you know she does not knock. Tell William I say to take it easier on you next time," he said laughing as he left my room leaving me with a bright red face.
I finished getting dressed leaving my room seeing grandma standing at the end of the hall with a satisfied look on her face. I walked across the hall to the twins' room walking in closing the door. "Is grandma digging into your relationship?" Maki asked sitting in his desk chair dress in black pants a gray button-up shirt with black suspenders.
"I'm going to say yes," said Mika laughing as clipped his white suspenders over his dark blue shirt to his black pants. I just groaned crossing my arms. "Look we are all wearing converse," Maki pointed out making me look at all over our shoes.
"Why do we always somehow match in the same way. Sometimes it gets weird," I said sitting on the end of Maki's bed. They both just shrugged. "Grandma, basically made me show dad the bruises I got from whoopty-doing with William and I do not think I can look dad in the eye when we go to dinner," I said to them.
