Miko P.O.V.

I rolled out of bed my alarm waking me. I turned it off standing up and stretching hearing my back crack. "Damn." I yawned walking out of my room. I walked into dad's room seeing him still asleep. I'll have to wake him up soon. I looked at the clock seeing 4 am. What can I say I'm an early riser. I walked out and towards the kitchen. I turned on the light jumping at the sight of Skittles Maki's spotted brown and white cat.

"I thought you stayed outside last night?" I questioned him picking him off the counter walking towards the car tree setting him on it. I walked back to the coffee marker starting it. It'll be ready by the time dad gets up. "Oh, yea. It's Monday." I mumbled looking at the calendar. I pulled two semis thawed mice out of the fridge sitting them on the counter to be feed to, Milkshake the Milk Snake and Rose the Rosy Boa. Mika had a thing for snakes and scaly animals, I found them cool but didn't want my own.

I grabbed the milk out of the fridge pouring myself half a cup before adding some coffee to it. I sipped it heading towards the back door to let Marcus my chocolate Pitbull inside. He likes to be outside on most nights and if he doesn't he knows how to open the door. I walked out onto the porch closing the door behind me. The sun was barely peaking into the sky. "MARCUS!" I called loudly. I waited a few minutes before I saw a blob come running into view.

"Hey, boy," I said scratching his head as he stopped in front of me. I laughed seeing how excited he was. "What? Did you catch something?" I asked in an excited tone. He turned in a circle which meant yes. "Show me, boy," I said laughing. He darted off the porch before turning around waiting for me to follow. I set my cup down on the deck table before I followed closely behind him as he strutted his stuff. "I wish I could put you in a dog show but you're a mixed breed and they won't let me," I complained to myself as he took us just out of view of the house.

I stared wide-eyed at a full grown fucking Russian Caucasian mountain dog lying tangled in the wire. "Oh, My God." I darted to the dog and quickly started unwrapping the wire from him. Lucky it hadn't caused any cuts. I got it all off and he stood up shaking his body fur flying off him. A dog of this sized standing next to me scared me slightly. This dog could eat me alive but Pit bulls are the bad dog breed. I stood up slowly not wanting to startle the dog. "Marcus this a new kind of find for ya," I said looking at him. I saw the collar under all that dogs fur and I slowly reached for it.

"Beastie, that's nice," I mumbled looking for a phone number. "Ugh. People put your damn number on your dog's collars." I growled. I stood up patting my side hoping the dog would follow. He did and I walked back towards letting him and Marcus in the house. I walked into dads room turning on the light. "Dad, it's time to wake up and Marcus found something quite big," I said waiting for him to roll over as I looked down at Beastie who stood next to me.

"What did the- Holy SHIT! That's a big ass dog." He gasped sitting up quickly. "Its name is Beastie," I said watching him rub his eyes probably thinking he was still dreaming. "How? Where? Why?" He just started getting out of his bed. "He was caught in wire just past the view from the house and Marcus likes anything he can play with," I answered as Dad kneel in front of the dog. "Damn, later today to see if he has a chip if not we'll post his photo around." He said standing up heading into his bathroom.

"Yes, sir," I said heading out of his room towards the twins room. I knocked hearing a quiet come in. I walked in turning on the light hearing a groan from both of them. They weren't morning people but they were early risers. "Why must you take away the darkness," whined Mika. Maki sat up rubbing his eyes before yelling, "Why is that dog so fucking big!?" Maki looked over gasping. "OMG! It's a Mountain Dog. Where did you find it?" He asked jumping off his bed walking over to Beastie.
