Chapter 4 Helping Hand

I woke up from a short nap. It was only midnight. I finally got strength in my legs so I walked over to the washroom so clean up myself to go downstairs to look for some food and watch the movie I never got to even watch. I made some home made pizza and had a glass of wine to go with my horror movie. As I'm watch my cell phone light up. " hey just checking in you hope you're ok btw it's Chad ". I nearly choked on my pizza . I forgot he had my number. " I'm fine thanks , what are you up to?". " nothing just in bed watching a movie before I go to sleep how about you". I'm just eating and watching a movie as well". I never got a response after that so I guess he fell asleep. I still can't believe it the new guy at work has the hots for me and he came over and gave me the best head of life. Never in my life has anyone i have ever hooked up with given me the slightest feeling of weakness. PING! a message on my phone came up i got excited and thought it was Chad but it was my good friend cammy she was in town and wanted to stay by me a couple of days. I told her i was up and she can come now and within 30 min she was here . She brought her things upstairs and I later joined her with food. What's up cammy " ? "You don't leave your house or town unless this is something serious". She began to cry about her situation. One thing you need to know About cammy. She never breaks down but when she does it's because she has reached her breaking point. I told her she could stay a couple weeks but she said she will only stay until Friday she just needed some space. Cammy and her boo have their ups and downs but never like this. I hope they can find a way to make things work out. Sunday afternoon came by I decided to go by groceries while cammy slept. I get there and it was pretty empty thank god because I don't plan on staying long. As I wait for the check out line I get a text cherry and Julie are at the house with cammy having drinks. I hurry pack the things away and head home when I saw Robert and jermaine pulling up. I know dang on well that this isn't happening again. " hey guys whats up?" . " oh nothing we just left out spare key and we wanted to talk to you " . As they approached closer they mentioned tell that Chad really likes me more than I know and I should keep things light. I didn't really say much because it's not their business. " thanks for the advice guys ". Robert said " no problem also would you know if Julie and cherry would go on a date with us". It was cute they wanted to know what I thought . " of course you should text them and give them a heads up"." They love the movies and to get a bite even roller skating ". As the convo died down they both confessed they didn't lose a spare key they just needed advice and to give me advice. I go inside and these girls are tipsy. They run up to me dancing I just pushed pass them and started to cook some dinner. After hours of slaving away it was time to eat. Cherry and Julie had there share and left right after and cammy ate then went to the bedroom leaving me alone. I was bored and was wanting some attention. " I wonder what Chad is doing". I'll see him tomorrow but I really want to see him tonight. As I go to pick up my phone it's dead. Why me ? By the time I blink it's Monday.
