A/N: RECAP! Okay, so it's been awhile... Sorry. Anyway, It was Annie's birthday and Steven apologized via note and cupcake and Annie accepted. Then Joe took her out someplace real fancy like and then Julia came over several months later while the guys were touring (mid-July) and two days before the guys got back, Julia took the pregnancy test. "Oh, shit."

I hadn't really thought it through all the way. Julia hadn't been on tour since the end of March. It was now the end of July. Don't you think there should be some sort of bump after a four month time-frame? Or maybe even more than four months? After all, she did leave on the last day of March. Either that or Julia is seeing things and there's not really a vertical line that would make the negative a positive.
Nope. She's not seeing things. I was completely unfazed by all of this, though. What do I care if she's pregnant? It's not like I had anything to do with it. I was calmly lounging on the couch, slurping at some tea with my feet propped on the table when Julia finally pulled herself together to leave the bathroom.
Well, at least she took the time to pull her pants up. I'm sure she could've taken the extra second to button them, but... whatever floats her boat.
She came running out and shoved the stick in my face. That's really rather disgusting considering how she got the result.
"Is that a plus or am I going insane?" she asks hysterically. I look up into her frantic face wondering how she'll explain this to Steven. I smile, in spite of the situation. "Is it?!" she demands.
"Yes, it is," I say calmly.
"Shit," she says again. She begins pacing back and forth, then asks, "When're they coming back?"
I shrug. "Whenever," I reply coolly. Is it just me or is all of this rather comical? How ironic: the cheater gets cheated on. Despite our unspoken agreement for a nonaggression pact, I can't wait to see what Steven thinks of all this. Ah yes, revenge comes around sweetly. All in good time my friend, all in good time.
God, I sound like a frickin' evil villain or something.

As I said, Joe called two days later telling me he was returning. I was unaware of their return until about two in the morning. So apparently when Joe said, "Yeah we're flying home tomorrow morning," he literally meant first thing tomorrow morning.
I was in bed, of course asleep, not expecting them until ten or eleven in the morning. Next to me on the twin bed someone laid down. I didn't think too much of it because I was more than half asleep. The creek of the bed-springs is what leaked into my mind to make me somewhat coherent. I turned to face him and opened my eyes to see the smiling face of my perfect boyfriend, whom I missed so much, smoothing the hair from my face.
"We're back," he said. So they obviously had a few drinks on the plane.
"I know," I say.
"I missed you," he says.
"I missed you too," I yawn. The last thing I want to do right now is get into some long winded pointless conversation about God knows what. Can I just sleep here in his arms forever... or at least until noon?
"Annie are you tired?" he asks me, now playing with my hair.
"Yes."
