KELLINS POV**

I only had 20 more minutes until I finished work, and then that was me for the next two days. I wish I had today off and worked everyday straight until Vic came home from tour. Speaking of Vic, since it was his last night in town he would probably want a nice quiet night in with me and the guys. I didn't usually mind that though, except I really wanted some alone time with him when I get home.

My bosses voice snapped me out my thoughts, telling me it was time to go home. I smiled widely at him, clocked out, got my stuff and left.

I must have been in my car and driving all of five minutes before I heard this loud band, and it just stopped. "Oh this cannot be happening right now" I thought to myself. I'm no mechanic, but I had to see what was wrong, it was useless though, I had no idea what I was looking for. I sighed, climbed back into my car to get my phone and keys. Oh great, my phones ran out of battery!

I started walking home, there was nothing else I could do.

I got about halfway from where I left my car to where I stay when it started raining, like heavy raining. Fantastic. Not only am I going to be about an hour late, I'm now also going to be soaking. Why did this have to happen, today of all days! I silently cursed today and all the shitty things that have happened as I walked home.

VICS POV**

Kellin wasn't picking up his phone, in fact it was going straight to voicemail, and that was worrying. Kellin always had his phone on, I was starting to get really worried considering he was already about 45 minutes late. You see, Kellin has a routine. He finishes work and heads straight home and then goes back out if he needs to. As far as I was aware he didn't need to go out for anything, and he would of phoned me anyway right? I was about to go out and find him myself when he came walking through the door, soaking wet. He had a pout on his face and he looked exhausted.

"Hey babe, where you been?" I asked.

"Car broke down, phone died and I had to walk home in the pishing rain." He moaned.

I pulled him into a hug, kissed his forehead and looked at him.

"Sorry to hear that babe, but uh.. I need to go out for a bit. Why don't you go take a shower?" I said, as casually as I could.

"Oh, okay." Kellin sighed.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

And with that i was out the door.

KELLINS POV**

Vic was acting weird, wasn't he? I thought to myself.

I decided to go for a shower, it was definitely needed after the day I've just endured. After my shower I headed into mine and Vic's room to get ready. There was a box and note lying on the bed I picked up the note and opened the box.

The note read -

"Put this on and be ready for 8, go meet the guys in the car when you are. Got a surprise for you. Love you baby xo -Vic."

My heart melted, he really is the best boyfriend ever.

I checked the clock and realised I only had a half hour to get ready. I put on the white button up shirt, suit jacket and black skinnies. Vic had even gotten me brand new black Vans and a black tie, awh he's amazing. Once I was dressed I quickly dried my hair and ran the straighteners through it, I thought I looked okay so I was happy with that. I checked the time again and I had five minutes before I had to meet the guys, that annoyed me a little. Vic went through all this trouble to buy me new clothes and tell me to get changed into them and then he invites the guys. I moaned and picked up my wallet and left to go meet the guys in the car, to be honest I wasn't even aware they were in the house. I reluctantly locked the front door and got into the car.

"Hey guys." I said, trying to muster up a smile.

"Hey Kells, don't worry we ain't staying. We're just dropping you off." Tony spoke up.

"Oh, okay.. Uh, why not?" I asked a little curiously.

"Its a surprise." Mikey spoke this time.

I just nodded, and the rest of the drive was filled with the guys talking about random stuff, like what they were going to do to keep themselves amused on tour. I really didn't want to think about Vic leaving so I tuned out and focused on the music that was coming from the radio.

The car stopped suddenly, and I looked around at where we were. I had no idea where this place was, I'm more than sure I've never been here in my life.

"Uh, where are we?" I asked, nerves tearing through my body.

Jaime and Mike just smiled widely at me, while Tony hopped out the car and opened my door.

"Vic's waiting for you down at the riverbank." He said pointing to a massive tree that was near the edge of the water.

I got out the car and walked towards him, I was so nervous that my palms were sweating. I reached him, and thats when I realised he had lit candles around a blanket and there was a basket, two glasses and a bottle of wine. Cute.

"Hey you." I spoke to Vic.

"Hey gorgeous" Vic spoke back.

"What's all this?" I asked, pointing to the candles and the basket.

"oh uh, well I wanted to do something special for you, since I'm going away tomorrow" Vic said, shyly.

I turned around and noticed the guys where still waiting in the car, I thought they said they were leaving? I got a bit annoyed, but Vic completely changed my mood. He moved away from me and got something from the basket.

What he did next, made butterflies have babies in my stomach.

Vic got down on one knee and said

"Kellin, we've been together for just over three years now. I love you so much and I couldn't imagine my life without you in it. From the very first day in maths class I knew you where the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I love you more than anything and it would make me the happiest man in the world if you married me, so Kellin Quinn, will you do me the honour of becoming my husband?"

I had tears in my eyes. I've waited for this moment for years, I knew I loved Vic from the start, so of course I said yes.

We hugged and kissed and then Vic walked me back to the car where the guys were waiting.

"Congrats" they all said in unison.

I couldn't keep the massive smile from spreading across my face.

The guys drove us home, and then they left. Vic had cooked a lovely meal and we spent the night just being the happy couple we always have been. Nothing could ever take Vic away from me, I love him and no matter what, I would fight to the death to keep him.

We spent the rest of the night in bed after dinner, just hugging and kissing. It wasn't long until we both drifted off into a sleep.

What a perfect day, with my perfect boyfriend.

I was so happy, and I couldn't wait wake up next to the love of my life.
