KELLINS POV**

I was awoken by the sound of my alarm beeping in my ear, uh did I really need to go to work today? I rolled over in the big spacious bed, everything felt different without Vic here. I sighed and got up.

He'll be home in a few weeks I kept telling myself.

I stumbled out of bed and headed straight for the shower, it was nice and warm and it actually woke me up. I finished cleaning myself and stepped out of the shower with only a towel draped around my waste, I walked over to the wardrobe and picked out a random black band T-shirt, blue skinnies and my black Vans. I was about about to leave when my phone started ringing, well that's weird.

I looked at the caller ID and I got butterflies, Vic was phoning me.

"Hey baby" Vic said, sounding tired.

"Hey babe." I said back.

We spent about half an hour on the phone talking about random things, I didn't really care what we spoke about though, I was just happy to be hearing from him. He had told me he went to see an old friend and at first I did get a little jealous, but after he had told me he went to Lexis grave I felt a little better. He definitely needed to make peace with her, he needed to put the demons to bed. We spoke about other random things until I had to tell him I needed to go or I was going to be really late for work, we said our goodbye's and I headed to work with a massive smile on my face.

---

It was about two hours after the phonecall with Vic, work was slow and I was on my break.

My phone started ringing again, I automatically answered it without thinking

"Hello?" I asked.

Nothing, that's weird. I was about to hang up when I heard the familiar voices of my best friend and boyfriend talking about Tony liking Vic. What?! My heart shattered, I couldn't believe the betrayal. He was meant to be my friend and he has a thing for my boyfriend, well fiancé, well I don't even know anymore..

Vic had obviously pocket dialed me without even realising it, I hung IP quickly and continued with my shift. When work was over, I headed to the nearest shop to buy a large amount of alcohol, I couldn't cope with what I heard earlier, and as the whiskey burned the back of my throat I couldn't help but think I deserved this.

In my drunken state of mind I phoned Vic.

Ring, ring, ring.. The ringing felt like it went on forever.

"Hello?" The voice at the other end eventually answered.

"Hey, Vic." I said in a sad tone.

"What's wrong Kells?" Vic asked, obviously worried.

"I want to break up. I'm sorry. Its for the best." I said and then hung up the phone before giving him a chance to reply.

I sat with my back against my bedroom door, tears escaping my eyes. I loved Vic, but it wouldn't be long before something happened between him and Tony, so I broke his heart before he could break mine.

I drank a lot more, and within a couple of hours I had passed out.
