My parents took me and my band to the mall. We had finished shopping and headed to the grocery store when I heard a gunshot. I turned to my mom to see her on the ground. I looked at my father who now lay beside her. One of my friends grabbed my hand and pulled me behind a door. I looked around to see we were in a janitor's closet. That was just two weeks ago.
