"Hey, where did Vash go?" You asked. Lichtenstein shrugged.

"Brudder said he had work to do, so I think he's locked himself away in his study again." She responded. You nodded your head, that was understandable.

"Well tell him that I'm heading out for a few, and that I'll be back." You smiled. Liechtenstein nodded and waltzed off somewhere. You sighed and turned racing down the steps of the house. It had been a while since you had gotten out, truthfully you didn't like going out with Switzerland to the grocery store. He would always get so upset about the guys that always would trot over and ask for your number, and if they were strait to the point they'd ask you out on a date. You would always open your mouth to answer a simple no, but before anything could reach their ears, Switzerland would always grab your elbow and lead you away. You were always bothered with those guys, and truthfully you hated them, oh god, and the types of girls who would always try and make talk with you, it just got on your nerves so much! You were nothing like them, and didn't want to be, but it was the looks that you had that fooled so many people. Even Switzerland was fooled the first time you two met. You had been at a simple party, once again trying to get away from everyone you found your way outside and sat by the pool. Pulling off your slippers you had dipped your feet in and laid on your back. Switzerland had surprised you when he walked up gazing down at you asking why you were out there and not partying. After the both of you talked for a while he seemed to not be so tense. Shaking the memory out of your head you continued to walk on. Already you had some guys whistling at you and calling for your attention. You let out a scoffing sound and rolled your eyes continuing on. Truth be told, you didn't like any of those guys, you only liked one guy, and that was Switzerland. At least he had taken time to know you before whistling or trying to date you, now that you think about it, he has never done a more than friendly gesture towards you. You were relieved, but a little hurt by the concept. Walking on you ignored all the guys that tried to stop and talk to you. After a while they just let out a huff and gave up racing away. You rolled your eyes. You wanted a guy who liked you for you. Not for your ass or chest or even your clothes! Finally reaching a corner store that caught your attention you stepped in searching for the gift section.

"Maim, you need help finding something?" The clerk asked. You nodded waltzing up.

"I'm looking for the gift section." You said. They nodded.

"It's all of isle four and half of isle five." The said. Smiling and saying your thanks you easily found the numbered sections. Quickly glancing across all of the sections you came across a small card. Sighing knowing not what else to get you pulled it out and brought it to the counter.

"A dollar maim." The cashier said. Pulling out a one dollar bill you handed it over and took the card smiling politely.

"Thank you." You said starting for the door.

"Come again!" They called watching you leave. Again you brought un-wanted attention to yourself by walking out in broad daylight. Guys raced up trying out all types of pick up lines on you stalling you for a while. By the time you made it back you were practically exhausted and sure that it had already been an hour or so since you had left.

"Finally you're back! Brudder was a little worried you had left without telling him yourself, but he's not mad." Lichtenstein smiled. You nodded your head.

"Hey, I'm sorry, but give this to him and tell him I'm a little to tired to give it to him right now." You said handing over the card. She stared at it a while then looked up at you.

"What's the occasion?" She asked as you started walking for your bedroom. Yes, you lived with Switzerland and his little sister. You felt kind of bad about it, but you couldn't get a good paying job and you were left with no one since your family disowned you for wanting to hang out with friends who weren't popular.
