Day 2 (Part 1)

THIS IS A 2 PART DAY SINCE ITS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO FINISH! PART 2 IS BEING RELEASED MONDAY THE 13TH! HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY

"Everyone up!" Shrewtail called to his sleeping allies.

"What a rude awakening,"Silverpaw yawned stretching.

"Well we need to scout for the remaining players and finish them off." Stonepelt meowed picking up her dagger and bow and arrow. 

"Now Shrewtail and Tiger go west. Amberrain and Tigerslash go east. Flamewing and Stonepelt go north. Silverpaw, Ravenpaw and I will stay here and booby trap the cornucopia," Larkwing announced.

"Who put the killer in charge?" Tiger hissed. 

"We're all killers Tiger get over it lets go." Shrewpelt grabbed his sword and headed west.

Tiger glared at Larkwing before padding after Shrewpelt.

Amberrain rolled her eyes since Tigerslash wasn't really her ideal partner. She grabbed her cross bow and went east.

"I can keep up you know." Tigerslash hissed and raced ahead of Amberrain.

Flamewing started to gather his weapons.

"Flamewing can I please come with you!" Silverpaw pleaded.

"No! I won't be able to defend you forever, you should've learned how to fight while you could." Flamewing grumbled under his breath and began to walk after Stonepelt

"You promised my sister you'd keep me safe." Silverpaw called.

Flamewing paused and tightened his paw.  He turned back and got in her face. "I did and I will keep that promise because I love her."

"You're going to leave me here with a killer!" Silverpaw whimpered. 

"You heard Shrewtail. We're all killers. I'll try and get back as soon as possible." Flamewing meowed firmly before turning and walking off.

Flamewing trailed after Stonepelt.

"The kit couldn't sit alone for one hour?" Stonepelt sneered.

"Shut up!" Flamewing snarled but couldn't help remembering the plea in Silverpaws sisters eyes. She didn't have to say anything to him her deep blue eyes had said it all.

Ill never forgive you if you let her die.

Larkwing sat down and looked at the pit where the fire had been the night before. He looked up to Ravenpaw who had sat watch last night. 

"You're going to set the mine field," Larkwing announced.

"But I stayed up all-" Ravenpaw was cut off by Larkwing jumping to his paws sword in hand. Silverpaw gasped.

"I will! I will!" Ravenpaw cried out and quickly went to work.

Larkwing looked to Silverpaw suddenly looking at her and realizing...She was the striking image of his younger sister who had died years before for going beyond the fences with her friends. 

Silverpaw felt uncomfortable from Larkwing staring at her. 

"Um...I'll work on looking through all the bags," Larkwing meowed and started gathering all the bags that had never been picked up.

Cloudfern woke in the cave in panic. She had forgotten she was in the games but her heart sunk when she remembered. She perked her ears listening for any signs of cats around but all She could hear was the stream and birds.

Cloudfern dared to peek her head out. Her eyes shot wide and she held her breath from gasping.

BOOM!

A canon went off in the distance.

Cloudfern had screeched thinking it was her own Canon. But it wasn't and the small scrap that had taken her breath away still remained lying in the river. It was a sandy brown tom Cloudfern recognized as Goosepaw the district twelve apprentice. Cloudfern had thought the canon that went off was his but he was still breathing.

"Over here I swear I heard a screech!" A yowl came from the distance.

Cloudfern nudged the apprentice. "Get up! They're coming!" She hissed quietly.

No response.

Cloudfern suddenly realized the toms back leg bone was sticking out cracked.

"For starclans sake if you hadn't been a apprentice ..." Cloudfern growled through gritted teeth and got down on all fours rubbing and rolling over in the mud covering her white pelt and trying to disguise her scent.

"There's a trail over here!" The voice had gotten closer.

Cloudfern grabbed Goosepaw by the scruff and rubbed him in the mud as much as she could then held him higher by the scruff and took off on all fours not realizing she was leaving a wet mud trail.
