"WAIT!" The voice was from Badgerstrike.

Badgerstrike stepped out from behind the group and looked to Hailscar and Berrytuft. Hailscar was seething out of his mouth with rage from being halted and Berrytuft looked on at Badgerstrike with curiousity.

"Why can't their be just two groups," Badgerstrike suggested.

Although this suggestion was mainly for Badgerstrikes own gain, he hated the idea of one big group. If he got the Dreaders to split it'd be easier to kill them off one group then the next.

Ripplenewt looked to all the she-cats with a lustful eye. If there was a group full of she-cats he could start his love affairs with them one by one.

"Yea one group all she-cats."

Mousesnarl cast Ripplenewt a disgusted glare, but nodded her head in agreement with Badgerstrike.

"Hailscar can be the leader of the Dreaders and Berrytuft will be the leader of the other group." She spoke.

In her mind which ever group became the smallest would be the easier to take down and besides Hailscar was obviously the more powerful.

"No!" Hailscar snapped.

The district one tom turned to look at Berrytuft with a dark glare.

"I'll be the leader of this new group. We will be called the Terrors! More feared than any of the Dreaders! Whoever agrees come stand by my side!"

Hailscar padded a little ways away and looked among the group of cats. Mousesnarl was the first to pad by his side.

Badgerstrike looked from Hailscar to Berrytuft questioningly. Hailscar seemed to act more on violence than reason, Badgerstrikes heart told him to go with Hailscar and get on his good side. However he still swore he'd protect Silverstorm. Badgerstike turned to look at the gray and orange she-cat standing behind him. Her eyes were watching Hailscar in disgust and fear. Stupid she-cat, why couldn't she see Hailscar was one of the stronger cats. He began to turn and walk towards Hailscar when his sisters voice rang in his ears.

"Promise you'll never break a promise in your whole life?"

Badgerstrike dug his claws into the ground in frustration. Silverstorm could make her own decision, she didn't always have to follow him, but then he remembered approaching the she-cat in training. Her eyes were scared as she spoke of being used only for her medicine cat skills and then killed off. He then sat and told her if she helped him he'd promise to keep her safe.

Barbwire cast Berrytuft an evil eye before following after Mousesnarl to stand by Hailscar. He was the most blood hungry just like her. Berrytuft might have more experience, but was too kind hearted. Hailscar would get the games going faster while Berrytuft seemed as if he went more by Starclan than the dark forest.

Snowfrost immdediately made her way towards Berrytuft and stood by his side. She believed Berrytuft would be more reasoning and responsible than

"You're way better than Hailscar would ever be no matter what," She meowed close to his ear.

"I didn't even want to be leader of anything."Berrytuft responded.

Snowfrost glanced towards Hailscar then Berrytuft then looked all around at the others. None of them seemed to have any leadership skills, in fact she was worried about Mousesnarl joining with Hailscar, since she always acted in charge.

"Well I'm glad you are," She meowed approvingly.

Silverstorm stood behind Badgerstike and Berrytuft, glad that Badgerstrike had chosen Berrytuft over Hailscar. She had been a little scared he was going to chose Hailscar. Silverstorm knew some battle moves and was very defensive when it came to defending herself. However she'd spent most of her apprenticeship learning herbs and had got behind in some valuable defense training that made her less confident in self defense.
