When we get back its awkward. The guys dont want to anger me so I leave, yet they want to be casual too.

"Movie?" Patrick suggests.

I know Im going to fall asleep, but I dont say. The guys look at me and I let a smile spread onto my lips.

"I dont care, I dont control you guys." I shrug.

Andy is the first to move, taking a seat on the sofa. Joe after, then Patrick and Pete. I take my seat on the edge and Patrick puts a movie on. As you can guess, I was flat out in under a few minutes. You cant blame me, by then it was early morning. Something warm is placed over me and I snuggle into it, leaning on the person next to me. Someones arm pulls me into them and their head leans on mine.

Good night.

"Hey, I want to get food." Someone is nudging me.

"Hm?" I groan.

"Get up." Its Pete.

I sit up, stretching. Pete is off quickly, off to the blender. I stretch again, my back clicks.

"Wow, I slept funny. My backs basically broken." I laugh.

"You were literally on top of me all night." I try not to blush as he smirks at me. "It was funny, maybe even cute."

My face is burning.

The blender then stops our need for any more conversation, so I go and have a shower. How cute. Cute.

I come out the shower and the word cute continues to circulate through my head.

I stand behind Patrick and read over his shoulder.

Case 183, the unravelling.

I skip a few lines.

The mixture has managed to keep him at peace.

The mixture...

He hates them, spends every waking hour plotting revenge. But they live in fear of him.

"Are you reading over my shoulder?" Patrick asks.

I makes some weird sounds before walking round the sofa and sitting down.

"You need proper clothes, I cant take you seriously in the same paisley dress, day after day."

I frown, what does he mean?

"We can easily get clothes for you. Andy?"

Andy walks in and nods at Patrick.

"Get her hunting clothes?"

Andy obeys his order, disappearing.

"I honestly am fine." I try to argue.

Pete bursts out laughing, causing me to look down at my clothes. My paisley dress is tattered and torn, mud and dirt on it. Theres a hole at the front, like a bite has been taken from the bottom.

"Okay, maybe I need to fix this a little."

Pete clutches onto his stomach, "look at you! You look like youve been dragged through a hedge... Backwards! You need those new clothes like I need this blood formula."

Blood formula? Thats what it is...

"Just accept it for a change. Free clothes, eh!" Patrick smiles warmly.

Andy comes over, peeling the neck of my dress over. His fingers tickle the back of my neck and I can feel his breath. He mumbles my size before jogging off.

I walk over to Pete and his blender. He gulps, straight from the container. I gag quietly, watching as he swallows full onion like things.

"What would happen if you... Stopped drinking that?" I ask.

"What would happen if you stopped eating food?" He replies.

My mouth forms an 'O' shape and I wander around the room, not sure whether to ask any more questions.

"Why do you wanna know?"

I swivel around to face him and think.

"I want to know the unknown. Be in charge almost?" I question my own answer.

Pete uses a finger to clean out the blender and shrugs.

"Its natural for humans to be inquisitive you know."

Pete is standing in front of me before I can finish my sentence.

"I was a human barely any time ago and I technically still am." He says defensively.

I dont tell him that his brain has probably been altered by being changed.

I dont tell him that his whole body has probably been reprogrammed.

I dont tell him that he isnt human any more.

I stay silent and stare, sticking to my mark.

"I still have feelings." He mumbles.

His eyes trail to the floor, as do mine.

"Im back. Lacey, here you go." Andy comes in and throws me some clothes, all black.

I turn and go to change.
