Troubles In Heaven

Chapter 14: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈

Sophie turned her back on the ex who left the room. Before Charlotte could get into her room she saw René climbing the stairs back to Sophie's room.
"I swear, I'm trying." René said as she sat down on the couch. Sophie sat down beside her and took her hand. "She does not miss an opportunity to humiliate me." she released her hands from Sophie. "What will happen after you get married?"

"Is that again, Ren?" Sophie sighed in frustration. She had explained to her girlfriend over and over again.
"You say you're going to be divorced, but what if she does not accept the divorce again? She still loves you. She looks at you the same way I looked at you before we started dating, and it hurts me." The girlfriend stood up, tears streaming down her pretty asian face.

"Ren, that's not ... she may even have some feeling for me, but it's you I love." the brunette got up and hugged her girlfriend aside.
"I need to work." René said, getting out of his girlfriend's arm. "Students may be on vacation, but I do not." she collected her clothes off the floor and went to the bathroom.

Sophie left the room and headed for the garden. Everyone had already left, and she was alone with René, Charlotte and Pierre, the pup. She had taken the cigarettes and the lighter, followed by the little white puppy. She was wearing a white dress and white heels. Sophie sat down on the cradle, lit a cigarette and tossed the tobacco on the grass.

The little pup played with a ball and jumped around her. He enjoyed it, and every time he brought her the ball, she could not stop herself from throwing the ball. At one point the puppy got tired, went to his bowl of water, took a sip of it, and walked back to Sophie. Pierre's attempts to join her on the cradle were hopeless.

The White Queen lifted him up to her, and he fell asleep on her lap. Charlotte and René appeared in the garden. It was time, the french should go to the judge who would house them again.
"Ren." the brunette smiled and kissed her girlfriend's temple.

"Do not ask me to go with you, because I will not do it." René responded by pulling away from her girlfriend and looking at Charlotte who was waiting flawlessly in her white Dolce & Gabbana suit for Sophie . "I'm going to my apartment so I can work, but I think I can take Pierre." She took the puppy. Sophie had never seen a René so cold before.
The chinese took the purse and the dog and left before the other women, without saying goodbye.

The silence between the two women in the car was uncomfortable, and the music did not soften the mood. Sophie was thinking about René and Charlotte about Sophie.
They got out of the car together and walked to the judge's office.

"Before the law are married, ladies Labelle." the judge said shortly after Sophie signed the document.
