The boys once or twice exchanged glances and then looked at the mothers who were silent. Especially Sophie, who since sitting at the table for dinner, has not said a word.
"I have a game next weekend." Arden said breaking the awkward silence.

"Game?" Charlotte asked.
"He plays tennis, he's the best on the team." Armand said without looking at his mother. "I thought you knew that."
"I thought you didn't play anymore." Charlotte said awkwardly. She knew almost nothing of her children's life.

"What about football?"
"I haven't played since I was nine years old." Arden before he put a mouthful of noodles in his mouth. "You know, if you want you can come watch me play. Mom must be bored by so many games. "He looked at Sophie and smiled.

"She must be bored of those parents and especially his coach who lives only to flirt and maybe have sex with mama Sophie." Armand said, and then he laughed and watched his mother roll her eyes. Charlotte couldn't help laughing, too.

Unlike Charlotte who is bisexual, Sophie has never sat attracted to the opposite sex. And obviously her beauty was the attention, especially of men. Charlotte remembers how the men harassed Sophie and the hilarious way she dealt with it.

"Have you told him that you like women as much as he does?" Charlotte said looking at her ex.
"Already, but he insists." She rolled her eyes and the boys laughed.T hey laughed, until Sophie laughed but then the silence came back until Sophie's cell phone started ringing.

"I have to take this." She looked discreetly at Armand and the boy understood who the connection was.
"She always says we shouldn't use the phone at the table, but when hers rings it she runs to answer it." Arden said.
"Must be from work." Charlotte said and with a little smile she passed her hand through the hair of her youngest son.
"It's not, she never brings the work to the table." Armand said. Charlotte was surprised by her son's reply and continued with her dinner.
