The streets were taken from men and women holding up posters and banners in the colors of the rainbow. Not only in Paris, but in other countries a number of people marched on protestants demanding equal rights and respect for LBGTs. And among these people, well ahead of the march with a blue sign written "All we want is your respect" was Sophie. That smooth face, bearer of fine features and soft voice was figure always present in the marches and protest.

Despite her appearance, she was not fragile at all. The only daughter of a conservative couple, but who showed that her love for her daughter went beyond her religious convictions, woman and homosexual, she had to learn to defend herself. Another thing about her was that she was always in the middle of fighting if she had a fight, Sophie was in it. In the last fight she and two friends went to the police station, all because one man offended his friends by calling them "couple of queens."

On the last march of the women she attended, she met Charlotte. A green-eyed blonde with a broken chin. It seemed to have come off the screen. They went to a bar with other women after the end of the march and before long they knew almost everything about each other's lives, talking as if they were friends. And for a long time it was exactly what they were; female friends. Charlotte at the time was in a relationship with a man and Sophie had never had a serious and lasting relationship.

"Char, what happened? You look sad." the young Sophie asked.
"Antonni and I broke up." the blonde wrapped in a banner with the colors of the rainbow answered.
"Why did not you tell me?" the brunette countered.
"I do not know ... But we ended up friendly." the blonde replied with a bland smile."Oh, I did not stay that way, Charlotte." the brunette hugged her friend aside. The blonde wrapped her next to her on the rainbow-colored flag and a man photographed them by
surprise.

"Great, let's show up in the paper." Charlotte said.
"Is there a problem with that?" the brunette asked.
"I did not, but my father did."

Charlotte was the daughter of a French mother and an Italian father. The very rigid man did not like it when he saw his daughter kissing another girl. An innocent kiss between old friends that was seen with other eyes by him.

Charlotte and her mother never had any secrets, and when her daughter told her she was attracted to men and women and her mother said she already knew, and that she would not judge her for it. The support of her mother was essential, since after assuming his father was never the same with her.

"Forget your father, you do not even live in his house anymore." Sophie replied. "And soon, I will also go out of my parents' house."

"Oh really!?" the blonde grabbed Sophie's arm.

"Yes. As much as I love my parents, it's time for me to have my own home." slowing down the steps, they mingled the crowd, the march was coming to an end. "And the new one is a gift from my father. He wants to build it himself."Sophie's parents' house was large and simple. There was nothing to say that it was a house of general. The white mustang stopped. "Do you want a drink?" Sophie asked as she unlocked the front door.

The two ladies headed for the kitchen. Charlotte sat down on the table and Sophie walked to the drinking cupboards. She opened the cabinet, took a liqueur and two cups. Put one in front of her friend and the other in front of her. The amber liquid slid out of the bottle into the glasses. "Cheers," the buzzing of the glasses slammed into the room. After less than a minute the glasses were empty.

"Tell me, Soph, have you ever had a relationship with a man?" Green eyes crawled over the brunette's ideal face. "No." Sophie laughed. A wide smile shone upon Charlotte's lovely lips. "Do you want to go to the living room and listen to the radio?" The brunette suggested. The two stood up and headed for the living room. Pleasant music came from the radio.

It was singing for love and freedom. She followed her cheerfully, and Charlotte urged Sophie to dance. Although she was short, Charlotte was having a lot of fun while she was driving. The music stopped and silence reigned. They both breathed rapidly. The girls stared at each other. Charlotte moved slowly her lips to Sophie's. The kiss was gentle and light as a feather. Sophie groaned as the tongue of the blonde was pressing. "Do you want to go to your room," Charlotte whispered. Sophie shook her head and led her girlfriend up.
