Ariana cried and cried, that beautiful story that her Nonna had just told her was the best story, even better from the first time that she had heard it. The whole room was silent apart from the machine.

As Nonna started to close her eyes she croaks out "I love you" squeezing Ariana's hand. As her eyes shut the machine beeps.

"No" Ariana cries "Ariana she's gone" Joan heart breaks at the fact her mothers just died and her daughter falling apart.

"Get her" Frankie whispers to Malcom. Malcom gently walked over to Ariana and went to pick her up but she threw a fight. He didn't want to hurt her so he left her stay. "She was so strong" Ariana cries "she was strong to the end Ariana but she's not in pain anymore, she ended on a high" Joan gives her a hug holding her daughter and Frankie gets in. Malcom felt bad but her took a photo of them all cuddled up.

"Sweetie we're going to need you to get off the bed" the nurse comes in "no 5 more minutes please" Ariana begs and the nurse nods.

"Tell Grandpa I love him" Ariana cries climbing off the bed and crying into Malcom's chest. Malcom rubbed her back as she cried. He didn't want to stop her he wanted to let her cry.

Frankie calmed Joan down as they sat in the room together. "Let's get you home" Joan pats Ariana's back. Joan knew her death was coming and had prepared her self. As bad as it sounds, she was happy she had gone because she knew her mother was no longer in pain even though she felt like she had been stabbed.

"Joan Frankie get in I'll drive you" Malcom tell them and they nod. "Back or front baby girl" Malcom asks Ariana who was clung to her. "I want my mum" Ariana sobs and he nods putting her in the back off the car.

Frankie gets in the front while Joan got in the back. He drives to Joan's house and Frankie and Joan get out. "Ariana" Malcom asks and she looks at him "so you want to stay with your mum" he asks and she shakes her head and he nods driving home.

Malcom gets out the car and pics Ariana up. He carries her in and takes her upstairs and puts her in the bed and tucking her in. He pecks her forehead "Can I be alone" she asks and he nods "call me if you need anything" he tells her and she nods.

Malcom walked out an shut their door before wiping a tear of his own before walking down to were Alexa was trying to keep the kids away.

"Daddy" Ellie asks giving him a hug "mummy's not very well at the moment so we have to give her some space okay" he asks and she nods. He puts Ellie down and she plays with her toys again. "Has she" Alexa asks heartbroken and Malcom nods. "Bless her heart, do you want me to have these three for the night" she asks and Malcom shakes his head. "As much as I want to be with Ariana, she needs to be alone, she wants to be alone and my children come first" he tells her and she nods.

"I'll leave you alone" Alexa gives him a sympathetic look before gathering her things and leaving. "No goodnight kisses off mummy daddy" Ellie asks "I don't think so" he tells her wiping a tear.

"Everything's going to be alright daddy"Ellie whispers kissing his check. "I'll be okay" he tells her placing a kiss to her forehead.

He puts on a film for Ellie while the twins slept. He made Ariana a drink and Ellie passing Ellie hers before walking up the stairs.

He placed the drink on the side before going into the bathroom. "Sorry" Malcom mumbles "it's alright" Ariana sighs wiping her tears. Ariana walks into Malcom's embrace "she's gone" she tells him "i know Ariana and everything will be okay" he tells her "I feel sick" Ariana cries "your bound to" Malcom tell her rubbing her back. He was with her when her grandfather passed and he never saw her this broken before all this.
