"We've put her in a coma. It was the safest option." The doctor tells Malcom coming in and he nods. "We will check on her condition in a week to give you approximate date when she will be off" he tells Malcom.

Malcom just nods. He holds Ariana's hand, it makes him feel closer to her. Their parents come in and Joan runs over to Ariana kissing her forehead before hugging Malcom. Malcom hugs his mum before climbing on the bed next to Ariana and holding her where he knew she felt safe.

"Malcom sweetheart" Karen sighs "no I could have saved her" he sobs "you've saved your daughter" Joan tells him rubbing his back. "I need her" he cries "she's a fighter Malcom she's so so strong" Karen tells him.

"That stupid bitch that hit my world didn't even get question" Malcom spits "Malcom calm down" Karen tell him "no don't tell me to calm down my wife my world the mother of my kids is led here joy being able to do anything for herself" he spits "Malcom please calm down I think she knows your getting worked up" Joan says pointing to her wart rate that was increasing. "No baby" he cries "I love you so so much please Ariana" he cries. He sighs in relief as her heart rate starts to decrease back to normal. "Why don't you get some sleep" Joan suggests to Malcom "but" Joan glares at him "your need to stay well Malcom loosing sleep isn't going to help anything".she tells him "I know, I might go and see the kids" he replies "I'll stay here don't worry" Karen replies and they nod as Joan drives Malcom to Alexa's.

"Daddy" Ellie cries running into him "i just got mummy back too" she cries "shh calm down" Malcom gently bounces hers "is mummy dead" she asks quietly "no baby's mummy is in a coma" he tells her "what's a coma" she asks "a coma is where mummy's is unconscious so she doesn't know what's going on due to serious injury" he explains "so mummy's dead for a while" she asks "no baby mummy's alive, mummy has a heart beat" he tells her wiping away her tears.

"Are you going to go back and see mummy later" she asks "i was going to stay with you" he says "no mummy needs you more than me" she tells him making his heart warm "you need to make mummy better please daddy I want mummy please" she cries over and over throwing herself about in Malcom's arms. He wanted to take her to see her but he didn't think it was a good idea. Malcom holds her tight as she calms down.

Malcom sits down with Ellie holding her for at least an hour. Just silent. "Mummy's not going to be here for my birthday" she cries "Ellie that's in two months we don't know how long she'll be in a coma for yet" Malcom replies kissing her forehead.

"Ellie princess you have got to eat" Alexa tells her "noo I want my mummy" she cries "come in baby" Malcom picks her up carrying her into the kitchen. Malcom persuades Ellie go eat by helping her. She really wasn't interested in anything.

Malcom took her up to the spare room and laid her in the bed "please make mummy better" she sobs breaking Malcom's heart "I will baby girl I will" be tells her wiping back some tears kissing her forehead before he walks out. 

"Oh Malcom" Alexa pulls him into a hug "my poor baby girls heart is broken" he sobs "she's a mummy's girl that's all she just hates to see Ariana in pain" she explains "I don't know what to say to her, she wants me to make Ariana better but I can't" he sobs "she a strong girl Malcom she'll come through this". She tells him.
