Chapter 2

I wake up to the sound of whispers, that are growing louder and louder.

"Why did teleporting knock her out and make her higher than a hot air balloon?" a deep voice was yelling now, his voice was so musical, to me. It's like an instrument that I never want to stop being played. I couldn't imagine if he actually started to sing! I would die and go to heaven!

"To all humans it does, whether their special to you or not, it makes the teleporting easier on them. The fog makes her sleepy and the wind that comes makes her high, like she is on too many drugs. When she wakes up she won't feel the greatest, and may freak out a little." this voice was also very deep and had a musical melody to it, but not one that appealed to me as much as the first.

I started to stir around and realized that when I did, I was pretty sure that I was lying on soft grass that smelt like dew, from early in the morning. It was as comfy as my bed back at home; I just wanted to lay here and never move, ever again.

I think the people that were talking realized that I was awake, because I couldn't hear anything at all anymore besides my own breathing and my heart speeding in my chest again. What is with my heart? If it wants to jump out of my chest and go live with someone else that's fine with me! I only need it to pump my blood, and sorta help me live! It's not like I would miss it! I finally pried my eyes open, and saw the only eyes that could make my heart beat like it was; the light brown eyes, of the stranger; that could or could not be 'mine' as my voice in my head put it.

"Go back to Sandy, and tell her I will be home soon and be bringing her with me." The stranger said, he had such an authoritative tone to his voice, it sent shivers through out my entire body.

I heard running footsteps slowly fade away, but there is no way I was going to look and see who just left. I didn't ever; want to look away from these eyes. I do need to get up though, I started to use my elbows to prop me up, but then this man had one of his hands in between my shoulder blades helping me even more; my heart was on over drive, again. His touch made me feel like I was complete, even when I wasn't wrapped up in his arms he still had this effect on me. I was sitting up now, and I wrapped my arms around my knees; his hand still on my back. Not once did we break eye contact. I don't even remember blinking. I need to say something but once again my mind was all jumbled up and all I could think of was this man, and absolutely nothing else. I opened my mouth and noticed how dry it was again and asked, "Who in the flipping world are you?" He started to break out into a full blown laugh. I swear it echoed, throughout, oh, we are in a meadow? Oh wow! It's so pretty! I could see right beside me purple and white lavender, and over off in the distance was lily's I think? I take a deep breath in and smell lavender, all the lilies and what else is that? Is that honeysuckle? I close my eyes and try to decipher the scent, that is honeysuckle but I don't see honeysuckle anywhere. What else is that? I take another deep breath; this stranger probably thinks I am crazy, I think I smell coffee? Wait; do I smell the ocean too? What in the flip flapping world is going on? Well unless this meadow with its trees and forest has a big ole' coffee pot and a big honeysuckle bush, next to an ocean, I have lost my mind. I reopen my eyes and have a scowl on my face because I can't figure out what I smell. Oh, and this man still hasn't told me who he was. My anger was starting to boil as he removed his hand from my back and stood up and towered completely over me while I was still on the ground. I opened my mouth to start yelling at him, when I felt so sick to my stomach that I just wanted to layback down in this grass. My face turned as white as a ghost; even though that's hard to do because of my already albino colored skin. I slowly lie back down on the grass and curl up in a ball, waiting for this to pass, if it even will. A sweat started to break out on my forehead. I felt a presence right beside me, and knew it was the stranger again, by the way my heart was beating too fast. My heart beat didn't really help the nausea.
