Jace's P.O.V.

After running, not even bothering to have Michelle transport both of us; I reached Carl within three minutes. Michelle mind linked me and said she will be there any second after I gave her the coordinates.

I could barely smell Mia, but there was the scent of rougue all over this area. I didn't know who it was, and the thought of someone having her made me want to tear them limb from limb.

'Jace, I can probably track them down. But we need reinforcements. Not just anyone would take a human.'

'You're right Carl. Something just doesn't feel right. She's hurt and she's scared. I can feel it.'

'Michelle, wait a few minutes until Sandy brings reinforcements, teleport everyone to this spot. Tell them to be ready.' I mind linked Michelle still in wolf form.

I started walking around the trees, trying to see if I could recognize the scent, the sky was coal black with only the Goddess Moon shining tonight. I can't believe Mia has only been here for almost five days. It's feels like eternity. I started going towards north the way Carl was going as he stood guard, my heavy paws were crunching the leaves, and without even a second thought I felt anger. I was mad, I was already mad at the situation but this wasn't my own, this was my mates. I let out an angry growl and Carl sent me a link 'Are you ok Sir?'

'No, something's wrong, we have to go now.'

I mind linked Michelle, 'Bring anyone, we don't have time to waste, get here now.'

'Ok be there in a minute.'

I shut off the mind link and started to pace. I hated waiting. I hated having to rely on others. I just wanted my mate in my arms, I just want her back. I wish I had my own powers to do something. But the Gods decided that I didn't need them for some reason. It's embarrassing that I will be alpha one day and I won't be able to protect my pack because of being weak, I can't even protect my mate.

I all of a sudden felt pain ripple throughout my entire body. It would have knocked me to the ground if I knew it wasn't mine. It was Mia's. I took off running.

'Where are you going?' Carl linked me.

'She's hurt, send Michelle after me later. I have to get her.'

'I'm coming.' He said.

'No, you need to tell Michelle where I went.'

'Ok Sir.'

I let out a howl, one that told people to run. I was on the path to kill. I didn't know where I was going, I just was going where ever my paws took me, the smell of rouge in the air was getting heavier and heavier. I had to be close. I started to hear running paws behind me, 'We made it here just in time Stud.' Michelle said through our link.

'We are almost there her scent is getting stronger.'

That thought alone made the pain subside and made me run faster then I ever have before, I had to reach her. The moon was shining down on all of us and I didn't realize how big of a pack we were until now. We slowly approached a small cement building, one small window, two human guards out front with guns, three wolves walking in front of them. I slowly mind linked my pack, 'We need to get in without making noise, any ideas?'

One of the older wolves stepped forward and said 'I have my ability.'

'I completely forgot, go ahead.'

Complete adrenaline was coursing through my veins as the older wolf, Damien, stepped forward and closed his eyes. Within seconds the guards were on the ground and the guns beside them, and the wolves stopped where they were and layed down. It put them in a deep sleep, and cut off their senses.

We all started walking forward trying not to make a noise, we are all so big in our wolf forms it is so hard to though. I take a deep breath in and I can smell my mate. Lavender, cherry blossoms and cinnamon. I didn't notice before but the pain is completely gone, and it made me realize she could be in so much trouble. I start to charge towards the door, only with my beautiful mate on my mind, and as I burst through the door, she is laying on the ground with four legs, red eyes, and blood dripping from her mouth.
