Chapter 6

"Listen, I can't tell you yet. Just, I need you to trust me, that I will in my own time, Okay?" I said in a pleading voice. I want to tell him but I am scared that the things that have happened will scare him off, and I can't lose him now. I haven't known this man for that long but one thing is for sure. I am falling hard for him.

He lets out a deep sigh and looks at me with such a serious face and says "Amelia Everest, whatever it is you can tell me. I am your mate. The fates has paired us up, which means when you're hurting no one else can make you feel better more then I can. When your smiling and you feel like you're about to explode with happiness, I hope that will be because of me one day. It is my job in life to make sure my mate is well, and happy, and loved. I have been waiting to find you for a very long time, my love. I am only 18 but I have the soul of a very old man, and that soul loves you no matter what. So please, tell me why you're so sad." By the end of his speech his lips are almost touching mine.

"I am scared to tell you okay? I don't tell just some random stranger anything! What happened back then has scarred me for the rest of my life, I will never forget." I put both of my hands on his bare chest. "I will tell you, just not now. I want to know more about you, and you about me." I finished and was tilting my head up to seal my words with a kiss when he brought his lips down passionately on mine. My arms go around his neck, as his lips devour mine. His hands slowly make their way down to my waist, and pull me close to his body. He breaks the kiss and pulls back just a bit, to give me that serious look again.

"I would love to know more about you, love. And I would love to share my life with you as well. Only if you tell me what has happened to you..." he trailed off.

"Deal" I said and sealed our agreement with another hot kiss.

***** 1 hour later*****

"I am going to go see if I can find some clothes for you and get you out of that sexy robe" Jace said with his smirk that makes my heart skip a beat.

"So, you like the robe Stud Muffin?" I said looking at his swollen lips, his hair was all in a mess, and he looked so hot it made my knees weak.

"Yes sweetheart I do, but that robe is only for me to see, I am going to go find you some clothes, one of the girls should have something your size." He gave me a last peck on the lips then turned around and left the room. But not before sending me that smirk that he knew that I loved.

"UGH Mia, What have you gotten yourself into?" I asked myself. Yes, I talk to myself out loud sometimes but that is only when I have a lot on my mind, and can ya tell lately that I do? I turn to go over to Jace's big ole' bed, and turn around and plop down on my back like I do at home.

"Okay, First; hot make out session with Jace...I could get used to." I said and had a smile that took up most of my face. That sparkle was coming back into my eyes just like Jace was slowly making his way into my heart.

"Next, I killed wolves, Jace's brother's to be exact, but not actual brother's just that's what they call them, and he should be mad at me but he isn't. I don't know if it is the mate thing or not."
