As much as Zach wanted to tell her now sorta-secret boyfriend about the baby, she couldn't. They were in school; it wasn't exactly the ideal place either. Even though she sat in the classroom every day during lunch with the man, but every single time she was afraid of someone watching them. It was unbelievable how many times Luke had to convince her the government did not care about their relationship enough to stalk them.

Luke packed lunch for the two; he never felt prouder than when he used his school microwave for the first time. So far, they sat in silence. The first two minutes of lunch consisted of them watching the food heat up and then Luke whining when it was far too hot.

The stories always said dating a teacher was much more fun. Instead, that was probably the hottest thing she saw that day- Luke's food. To be fair, Luke's finger was slightly pink for almost ten seconds after he touched it.

Luke then pulled two forks out to put on the desk and then two water bottles from the miniature ice chest in his desk. He then placed it on the desk, sitting back in his seat as he turned to Zach.

"Lu-" There's a possibility someone could hear them, she thought. She could always tell him later.

"You know that kid that bothers me?" he asked. The man was so excited that he was unable to stay still in his chair.

"That ugly Zach kid," she interrupted with a smile, which Luke rolled his eyes.

"Shut up," he laughed, finally remembering something. "Jackson?"

"Hemmings," she joked, mocking the man, "you have to say first names."

Luke scrunched up his nose. "I will never have to learn the first name unless I have to, Maxwell."

She wanted to tell him, give the man terrible news while he's happy. "I have to tell you something important-"

Luke was far too excited to let himself forget his story over something Zach had to say. It was important, she would remember! He pouted, poking out his bottom lip. "Can I say mine first?"

She smiled at him as she nodded her head. Maybe wait a few more days.

If she could wait almost four months, a few days wouldn't hurt. Also, the school wasn't the ideal place to tell your boyfriend about his unborn child.
