we tell girls to lose weight because they're too fat
we tell girls to put on weight because they're too thin
we tell girls to wear no makeup because they're beautiful without
we tell girls to wear makeup because boys want us 'pretty' and to impress them - who then complain about 'false adverisment', i didn't realise i was a product to be sold
we tell girls to cover up because the boys don't like 'whores' or for us to show too much skin
we tell girls to wear little clothing so boys can sexualise us and make repulsive, sexual jokes
we tell girls to uncover because they're 'prude' or 'doing it for attention'
we tell girl that they can't like something because it makes them a 'hoe' like Starbucks or Ugg Boots and Parker coats or dog filters
we tell girls to have a personality and like someone or something
we tell girls they all like same things because 'they just do'
But what do we know? This is why we need feminism. Feminisn is NOT anti men. Feminism is NOT women are better than men. Feminism is NOT anti women. Feminism IS women are equal to men, we are girls and we are proud of that.
You may be thinking 'but why not meninism?'. For hundreds of years, women have been opressed. Women have been less, and women have been ignored. The main idea of feminism is supporting women and bringing them up to the same level as men. There is no interest in bringing men down, just bringing equality. It's mad to think for years, men were voting on whether women, their mothers, wives and daughters, should have rights.
I am proud to be a woman and i will be until the day i die.
