MARGO shut her front door with a soft click, careful to not wake anyone up. It was a weekend night, but she assumed Jenny was most likely asleep. Margo leaned her back against the door, smiling softly at the memory of that night. Her lips still tingled with the thought of Jacob's on her own, and just the idea that this had been her first real kiss left her excited and wanting more. She brought a hand to her lips, chuckling quietly. Margo then turned to look out the front door window, watching Jacob's Rabbit speed away from her house.

With a heavy sigh, Margo ventured down the hallway and into the living room. She tip-toed across the creaky floorboards, but found her brow furrowing when she noticed the television was lit. Margo appeared in the living room then, noticing both her aunt and Melinda hanging their arms over the couch with excited expressions. Margo's mouth dropped. "I thought you'd be asleep!" She said to Jenny, before turning to her best friend. "And what are you doing here?!"

"Jenny told me you were going out on your first date with Jacob Black tonight," Melinda said, nudging her aunt.

Margo glared at Jenny. "You're such a blabber mouth. I was going to tell Melinda on Monday."

"Well, she's here to sleep over for the night, so you don't have to wait." Jenny smirked. "Now, tell us!"

Margo sighed before plopping herself on the couch, right between the two females. She smoothed out the wrinkles in her jeans. "Firstly," she began, "you must know that Harry Clearwater's homemade fish fry is world famous ..."

•••

It was February, meaning that Margo and Jacob had been blissfully dating for almost a month. While Margo was excited for her new complexities within the dating world, she didn't let having a boyfriend control her entire life. She still had school work and readings that came first, but she always managed to make time to call Jacob at night. She found out that Jacob Black wasn't very clingy – which she liked – and he respected that she had a lot of things that came before their relationship. He was busy with the same things, though he also wasn't as into school work as she was.

As Margo walked into math on a regular dreary afternoon, she thought about a funny story Jacob had told her last night. To cut it short – because Jacob was a talker – he had tripped over his own feet walking into history class at his high school, causing Quil to laugh harder than he ever had before. Margo made sure to keep one foot in front of the other that day, not wanting to be mortified like he was. She could just imagine his face going beet red after tripping.

After taking her seat in the front, Jessica Stanley's shrill voice became very apparent in Margo's ears. She rolled her eyes at the sound, shoving her headphones in her ears as she waited for class to start. Although, no matter how loud her music was, nothing could ever drown out Jessica. Margo heard her very clearly talking to Eric Yorkie about Bella Swan, and once the name came up, Margo hit pause on her handheld music player. She sat up and listened in.
