MARGO RICHARDS had excelled at everything. From the start of her life, she learned to talk earlier, she knew how to read at the age of 4, and she was simply great with all academic work. She was a complete and utter genius.
But, truthfully, Margo wasn't born with academic excellence. Coming from an emotionally and physically abusive family caused her to perfect her brain to the fullest extent. If she couldn't impress her parents, she could certainly impress herself.
Eventually, her aunt caught hold of what was going on in the Richards' household, and after an overwhelming court case, Aunt Jenny got custody of her niece. Because of this, a fourteen-year-old Margo was forced to move from sunny California to a place in "butt-fuck nowhere," also known as Forks, Washington.
Margo grew accustomed to the dreary, small town easily, and quickly became the smartest student to ever inhabit Forks High School. But this title also came with being the most annoying, talkative girl in school. Margo didn't mind one bit.
Margo was used to knowing everything. She had known anything and everything her whole life. Her big brain didn't like when she was left in the dark, and when Margo finally begins to suspect a gruesome activity involving her little town, she will stop at nothing to find an answer.
Curiosity did kill the cat. Or in this case, THE WOLF.
