Chapter 12

I get off the phone with Allison and continue to cry while dancing. I then decide I should probably take my face mask off so I trudge into the bathroom and my face mask rips off painfully but my skin feels a lot better.

I brush my teeth and put deodorant on. Then I get changed into my comfy pajamas practically throwing myself onto my bed carelessly.

I turn the tv on and a little after 8:39pm, my eyes drift off along with my mind and I fall into a deep slumber.

The next day

The sun shines in my face like a fiery ball of lava hurling from the sky. I groan and turn over on my side.

After about 5 minutes of me trying to fall back asleep but sadly failing I decide to just get up for the day. I rub my tired eyes and pink up my phone unplugging it from my charger station.

I turn my phone on and the screen lights up. 7:30am March 1st it reads
Across the top of the brightly light screen.

I notice that I've gotten 3 missed calls from an unknown number in the past hour and a half.

Hmm wonder who that could be?? Oh well. I lay my phone down on my bed and go to my closet to get dressed.

I pick outa long gray dress and pair it with a cute white and plaid flannel. I get dressed in my closet this morning because I'm too lazy to do it in my bathroom.

Once I'm dressed I slip my white converse on a put on some jewelry along with a black fedora hat that I love so much.

I walk into my bathroom and do my daily morning routine which is: brush my teeth, put deodorant on, brush my hair, curl my hair, and then put a small amount of makeup on.

I walk out of my bathroom and grab my phone heading down the stairs to start my day. As I get to the bottom of the staircase my phone goes off. I turn my phone on and see that the unknown number that called me this morning has now texted me!

Great what do they want now! I open my text messages up and start to read their message.

             Unknown:Hey look I know you're mad at me and all, but I really want to explain to you what happened between us and try to fix it. Can I please come over??
I stare blankly at my phone. How did she get my number!

          Mags:Stella I'm 99.9% sure that this is you and if so, I don't want to hear it. You had 7 whole months to explain everything to me but instead of taking that opportunity to fix our problems in our relationship you were screwing around with that stupid girl doing god knows what!

             Unknown:Mags please you know me better than anyone, just let me explain and then if you still hate me after today, I promise I will never ever talk to you again

           Mags:Fine.
         Unknown:Thank you! I will be at you're house in 10
         Mags:Whatever..

I close out of my messages and take a deep breath. Maggie maybe she has changed..No what am I even saying?! Of course she hasn't changed!! It's only been 7 months!! She's still most likely exactly the same!!

I'm knocked out my thoughts when I hear the doorbell go off as it startles me. I walk over to the door and count down to 3 until I finally reveal the girl that broke my heart, stomped on it, crushed it with no remorse, and never looked back at the damage she left behind.

I get tense as soon as my dark brown eyes meet with her light red eyes. I can't decipher the look she is giving me but I have somewhat of a gut feeling you could say, that it might be a slight hint of guilt.

"You have 5 minutes" I say coldly. "O-oh umm a-alright.." She stutters a little. "Look I know what it looks like but please believe me Mags that I never meant to hurt you, ever! I was in a bar one night and this girl came up to me. She seduced me and then we just kind of starting developing feelings for one another.." she stammers.

My jaw drops in utter disbelief but then it quickly clenches up as tight as it can get. "You took her virginity??" I ask feeling my entire world crash down around me.

"Yeah but she seduced me into it Mags you have to believe me" She pleads. "How could you tell me that you wanted to take my virginity because it was the most precious thing in the world and you valued it more than anything, but then you go and take another girls virginity 20 minutes after meeting her?!?! Did I mean nothing to you?!

I stayed up that whole night wandering if you were fucking okay Stella?!?!" I scream as hot anger filled tears stream their way down my face.

"Mags please.." She begs walking closer to me with her hands out trying to pull my face to hers.

I step back and hurt is evident in her face. Not even 2 minutes afterwards, she starts to cry. "Maggie baby please don't do this to me, I need you right now. I came to say sorry because I want to be with you, baby it's always been you." She says crying.

"Oh please Stella, save it for the girl you really care about." I state closing the door behind me as she starts sobbing loudly.

I walk through the hallway and back up to my bedroom screaming hard into my pillow as tears smear all over it.

I pick my head up and just lay on my stomach on my bed for a second when I hear footsteps going up my stair case towards my bedroom door.

Crap.

I forgot to lock the front door. My door open softly and in comes the devil herself.

She closes the door behind and then looks over at me on my bed.

She comes over to my bed and crouches down to my level looking into my eyes. She takes her hand brushing my hair out of my face and tucking it behind my ear.

She leans her head down and closes her eyes and I freeze unable to love. She's gonna kiss me. Oh hell to the no not today sister.

I jump off my bed and towards my closet. She opens her eyes and lets out a frustrated scream and starts crying again. She gets up and looks me deep in the eyes.

One thing about this girl is she gets whatever she wants when she wants it, and right now I'd say she wants me.
