This worried me.
Everything worried me.
Yes I had followed Dinah to the little pack meeting and saw everything. We had been hanging out and she left an hour ago saying she had buisness and i got worried. Clearly my feeling was correct.
It didnt help she came over afterwards. Seeming all chill and happy. Yet she had to have known I had gone. I mean shes smarter than that right?
"Yes I knew you went." Dinah says interrupting my thoughts. "I wasnt going to stop you because you jeeded to know the truth."
"And what is the truth?"
"That Lauren Jauregui was my original mate. But I never loved her. She was always cold despite trying to love. And I fell for you. Hard."
I smile and snuggle into her chest. "So why did you run?"
"Remember the day when I scratched you? Bit you? I turned you then and I got angry. Lauren had gotten to me and I reacted in the worst way possible. I ran because of her."
"Now what happens? She said she was going to get you."
"She can have me. But when she threatens you thats where the line is drawn."
"Protective much?"
"I am a wolf."
"A very sexy wolf."
Dinah chuckles. Music to my ears.
"Do you love me Camila? Do you think maybe..."
Her sentance hangs in the air.
And I look up at her. Shes so beautiful. And I love her. I do. So whats stopping me from saying it out loud?
She sees my hesitation.
"Camila-"
"Your calling me Camila." I say, hoping to distract her.
She moves from the couch we sit on. "I give you everything. I give you my all. Cant you at least say you dont love me? Before you drive me insane?"
"But I do like you."
Dinah winces. "Like." Her voice is monotone. "I'll see you later."
"Please, Dinah wait." I move in front of her. My newfound strength allowing me to pin her against the wall. Her eyes are raised.
"Camila-"
"I liked it better when you called me Karla." I tell her quietly.
"You cant fix your mistakes with sex." She warns me.
I throw back my head and laugh. "Not what I had in mind."
"Dam, make me horny for nothing?"
She bites her lip and I smile.
"Your a decious thing." She comments.
"Well I want forgiveness. "
Dinah grunts. "Mmm. Call me when you find it."
"Im serious Dinah. I do you just have to give me time-"
"I saved your life! Ive protected you and your stupid family! Ive always been there and you dont love me. Imagine how much that hurts."
"Wait what?"
Her eyes widen. "I have to go."
"I cant love a person who hides important things from me!" I call after her.
She turns back. Her eyes looking deep into mine. Something shimmers. Something not Dinah like.
"Then maybe we arent mates."
Her words slam into my heart like a dagger as she shuts the door tight.

My mouth is covered and I watch as the fake me runs out the door. Coming into the forest where Im caged. Stupid cage of silver. I growl when Lauren Jauregui morphs back into herself, her hair darkening and figure going black before turning into the evil Jauregui I know.
"Morphing is very lame." I comment,
"But it serves me well."
"Who gave you the ability? Bang up a warlock for it slut?"
Lauren growls. "Watch it Jane."
"Jane eh? Thats a new one."
"The cocky one is caged." Lauren rolls her eyes. "Why am I not surprised."
"Because you know Im like this. And remind me why Im here?"
"You know we play dirty. And now you get to watch."
She grins and a truck pulls up behind my house. The one Camila is in. Heartbroken. I see men with guns. Traquelizing darts.
My eyes widen. "Lauren dont you dare!"
Lauren begins walking away and I growl. "I swear Jauregui I will burn in a sea of holy fire before I let you win."
"Maybe you should beg me Dinah." Lauren smirks. "Ive always liked being the one in power, you know that."
I grin. "Oh please great and powerful one of mercy. Forgive the sins for which I have plagued upon myself for the innocent should not be harmed for my own wrongdoings. I wish to be punished directly of whatever your chosing just dont hurt her."
Lauren gives a thoughtful look. "Ummm... Nope!"
"Camila!" I scream at the top of my lungs.
The door flies open and Lauren curses. "You freaking bastard!"
My Luna is luminated by the night. She can see us. I know it. I see the truth in her eyes. Shes running down to us and Lauren steps in front of her.
"What have you done to her?" Camila demands.
"Have you forgotten what she said to you?"
Camila stiffens. "How did you-"
"Im a stalker."
"She was me." I say flattly. Morphing bitch."
Lauren rolls her eyes. "Like I know how to morph."
"Then explain to me why Camila saw past your disguise. She saw something shimmering in your eyes. A speck of dark green."
Camila staed in awe. "Howd you know?"
"Im your mate. We are connected."
The men creep behind Camila. Lauren roars. "Dinah Jane is my mate." She looks to the guys behind her. "Now."
I reach through the bars as Camila spases and falls to the ground.
