As much as Id like to say Dinah frightened me, she didnt. She couldve murdered her parents or blew up a school and I still wouldnt be afraid. Not as much as I was right now. Dressed in slimming black with a sparkle in my eye, I looked in the mirror.
Nothing about me screamed attractive. Not in my eyes. Dinah was marrying Lauren today. And someone had to stop her. I had no doubt in my mind shed blow up the Earth, dig us a shealter, and lock me down there if she thought itd keep me safe.
Normani was behind me. Her eyes dark and waiting. We were ready. She was the one helping me. I knew she hated Lauren and Ally almost as much as she hated silver. If not then more, which was saying something.
"You know what your doing?" Normani asked.
I nod. "I love her-"
"Im not saying you dont. But Dinah can handle herself. She cant handle the fact that you got injured on her account."
"But im doing it willingly."
"And your doing it for her."
I turn around and look Normani in the eye. "Lauren could come after me with whatever. As long as I get my Dinah back, everything will be worth it."
"You dont know who Lauren is do you?" Normani shakes her head. "You dont even know who you are."
"Because no one will be tell me." I counter.
"Dinahs told you your a Caster."
I nod.
"But has she told you her background?"
"No. She said she was binded by blood or something not to tell."
Normani nods. "Thats right. Shes from the Kingdom of Avalon. Dark and dirty. She was doing favors for the king and the last one was to kill the Princess of Eden. Eden is their greatest enemy. If Dinah could do this she and the princess were allowed to marry. That princess was Lauren. And the other, the Princess of Eden, is you."
I nod, unphazed. "She told me about roality."
"But when Dinah couldnt kill you she fled. And you fled with her. You went to the one place where Lauren was hiding. Im not exactly sure why the King sent Lauren into hiding but she was there. And she Turned Dinah. Then a few months later Dinah turned you."
"Yes." I say. "I know. But that doesnt mean I dont love her."
Normani nods. "It doesnt. But you need to heart he whole story."
"Lauren thought maybe she could fall for you but to no avail. She decided she wanted you dead, and Dinah is still bound to Kings orders. She is his highest warrior. Dinah still has to complete her task of killing you. Before Lauren and her are married."
"So your saying Dinahs going to kill me?"
"Well she can fight herself. But on the inside it wont matter. Shes strong, fast and has supernatural powers thanks to Laurens marks."
I slam my fist into the wall. "I love Dinah! And Im going to stop this."
Instead of filling my head with more doubts or horrible past memories, she smiles. "Your the Princess of Eden alright. Got that fiesty demenor just like your mother."
"My mother." I whisper. It reminds me I really dont know who I am.
But I do know. I am Dinahs mate. And she will not marry Lauren. Not unless Im dead.

When the wedding begins I sit in the tree lining and gape. Dinah has never looked so bautiful as she does now. She wears a white, sleeveless gown that drops to the ground. I can tell by the way she walks that she doesnt wear heels. Not today. She has white pearls adorning her ears, my white pearls. Thats where they went!
Little theif.
Her hair is styled so that her bangs meet together in the back making a small pony. A halo around her other hair. A small clump of hair hangs down her left side. The rest flows behind her on her dress. Its decorated with little white lilies.
My breathing hitches. Lauren stands waiting at the altar. She wears a tight dress of white, outlining her curves perfectly. Her emerald eyes pierce into Dinah like she owns her, making my skin boil.
Dinah stands in front of Lauren and the man holds out rings. P
"Does anyone object to their princess and the warriors marriage?"
And thats my que. I dart out. "I do."
That has quite a ripple affect. Murmers and angry looks come from everywhere.
The only person Im looking at is Lauren though. She is fuming with anger. The sky turns blood red. The air is filled with ashes. Clouds are gone. The sun is red and white. I see Dinah watching me. More with interest than alarm. If anything a smirk.
My mouth curls into a smile. "Hiya Lauren."
"What are you doing here?"
"Helping my mate from making a bad descion."
Dinah moves away from Lauren and wraps her arms around me. "I love you so much Karla. Its a good thing your punctual."
"Always for you." I say kissing her lips.
She kisses back, smirking into my lips. Probably laughing in her head because of Lauren. I feel her arm raise but I know theres nothing in it. Dinah rubs my back and I smile.
"Your my mate. And you are not going to marry the Princess of Avalon. Yur marrying the Princess of Eden."
Her eyes widen. "You- you know?"
"Its confusing. But I know im a princess and dont princesses get what they want?"
"You do."
Dinah takes me in her arms and moves away. "Sorry Lauren. Cant marry you."
"You had an oath."
"I came back to you didnt I?" She calls back. "Who said anything about staying?"
Her laughter fills the air and we run. And we are together.
