When I woke up I see green. And not the comforting green of the grass that Dinah and I laid on for hours. Not the green of the gas station that we bought pringles from. Not the green of the library we went to.

But an evil green. The green in which only meant Lauren Jauregui. The green for good that just wasnt her. In Eden green was for beauty and peace. In Avalon gold was for war and descruction. Ive begun to see just how different our kingdoms are.

Her red lips part into a smile. "Your awake."

With a yawn I sit up. Im on a rock in the middle of a canyon. The valley I instantly recongize, half because of the familiar pine scent, half because of the packs on both sides. One looks angry one looks reluctant. And if they arent willing for battle they dont stand a chance.

My thoughts immediatly go to Dinah. What have they done with her? Was she dead? Did they already kill her? Would I join her in oblivion? And yes that was a semi-nonselfishway of asking myself if I was about to die.

Lauren grinned. "Wakey wakey Princess."

"Whats going on?"

"Its the grand finale." Lauren said smiling.

I caught Normanis eyes. She stood beside Ally. Looking dreadful as ever. Her eyes sent one clear message. Run.

But Dinah never gave me time.

She lept out of the tree lining as a wolf and dug her teeth right into the pale girls throat, an earpiercing scream thickening the valley air. All the wolves stood by though. As if waiting a command. Who knew they were so disloyal? Letting their Lauren get killed?

As much as I hated it I knew she wasnt dead though. Probably why none of the pack attacked. I watched as Dinah threw punch after scratch after slap at Lauren. She was on top of her and angry as ever. Back in human form she looked a mess.

Her usual wild hair that had been straighten for the past week was now back to its curly mess. Lips were redder than usual and I could tell it was because of blood. Dinah clenched her teeth before spitting a mouthful of blood on Lauren and getting up.

Eyes sparkling in the setting sun, her chest heaving, she marched straight over to me. Looking around for someone. It was obvious in the way her eyes scanned.

"Where is she!?" Dinah roared and all the wolves took a step back.

Lauren sat up, coughing up blood and grinning. Her wounds were already heeling.

"You've arrived just in time."

And a blinding light appeared. Blood red. Thats when I felt the dark energy. I watched the King and Queen of Avalon step through the iron gates of blood. With their dark red armor and lips curved into cruel sneers of joy.

Her mom had Laurens eyes.

"Hello sweetheart."

A bubbling jealousy swept over me. Her parents came to her aid but not mine?

Relax Luna.

Dinahs soft voice traveled inside my head.

Its part of the gig. They affect angry jealousy rage, any sort of dark emotion for the weak surrounding them.

My eyes caught Laurens and they were bathed in a cruel light. She hugged her mom and I wanted to snap. Dinahs arms snaked around my waiste, pulling me close. Our heartbeats fell to one and my breathing grew steady again.

"So our daughter tells us shes unhappy." The Kings voice is cruel.

The Queen nods. "The roalty of Eden may not care for their daughter. But we do. And a little heat wave to the Earth wouldnt be so bad."

Dinahs eyes widened.

"Dont!"

But it was too late. Their laughter filled the air as they moved back through the bloody gates. I watched as the forest fell to fire. Smoke filling the air. I ran with Dinah but something in her eyes told me she knew the ending.

A black void was circling the center. Right at my house. My school. Buildings on fire came crushingg down. Falling into the void and sinking as if in mud. The firey pit of oblivion stood before us.

Laurens cold hands hit my back.

And I fell.
