{Lauren Jauregui}
When Dinah gets back I pull her into my arms and inhale her sweet scent. We were always meant to be mates. And now I finally have her. Shes mine. Shes mine forever. Ally and Normani sit glaring across from eachother.
Dinahs breathing is slow and I try to invade her thoughts. Normal werewolves cant actually do this. But we both know what blood is mixed in our veins. Dinah wasnt always a werewolf. I wasnt either.
My mind ran into a huge block of iron. Shes put up her defenses for once. I glare at her and she raises an eyebrow.
"Yes?"
"You have a mental block up."
"And?"
"And I dont like it."
She gives me a smirk. "We all have things we dont like."
"You will learn to love me Dinah Jane."
"Dont hold your breath."
Ally holds something out to us. I recongize it instantly. They are the priceless rings. Made of an ancient bone, pure diamond, and iron. Dinah looks at Normani questioningly hut she shrugs helplessly.
"Wedding rings."
Dinah seems to be holding back anger retorts. Instead she takes the ring and I take the other, smiling at my new wife. You know how most stories say you feel empty when you have what you want? Thats a lie. It feels wonderful. But when lessons must be taught lies must be brought.
"Your not saying anything?" I question.
"Hmm?" She snaps from her distant gaze. "Yeah Im just kinda..."
"Just kinda what..." I prompt.
"Tired."
"I can walk you home." I offer.
Her eyes travel back to mine. Somethings clouding her. And I can tell it isnt me for once. She looks distant, maybe even a touch of fear. Her eyes are alert but not here. And I really worry. I know Camila was her everything but I never expected her to end up like this.
Without a second thought I stand. "Im walking Dinah home. Weddings in 2 days and we can plan it without her. She'll be fine."
Leaving no room to protest we walk home in silence. Her gaze is far off and a couple times shes ran into a tree or veered off to the side. When we made it home safely, Dinah with all her eyes in her sockets, I dialed Camilas number.
She picked up immediatly. "Dinah?"
"Wrong. Its Lauren. But D is really out of it and I dont know why."
"Maybe because shes sad. I mean afterall your forcing love when she doesnt love you."
"Can you stop thinking about that? Dinahs in trouble!"
Her silence tells me that shes surprised I care. And I actually do. I fell in love with her and I fell hard. Even harder when she didnt want me. I tended to chase what I couldnt have. Dinah was no exception. So thats why I went to Ally. She had been prepared to have war but I told her I wanted Dinah. And thats when our arranged marriage came to be. We were mates. I could feel it. Now it was her turn.
Camila arrived minutes later and she knealt down beside Dinah. I had laid Dinah on the couch. Her eyes stared up blankly at the celing. Her usually brown eyes were mixed with a weird shade of gold. The lines swirling and spiraling like some waiting screen for a computer.
The lines were faint but Camila saw it too. "Dinah?" She whispered.
Dinahs eyes caught Camilas. "Luna?"
"Its me Dinah. Your Luna." She says pressing a hand to Dinahs cheek.
But instead of saying I love you or kissing Dinah gives a curt nod and closes her eyes.
Camila moves back a little. "What did you do Jauregui?"
"I swear this wasnt me!"
She slaps me hard but I dont even feel a sting. "Stop lying!"
"Tell me when you get your sanity under check." I snap. "Dinah is lying there and she needs you!"
"Your her wife. Why dont you do something?"
After all the shouting we've done we dont realise Dinah is sitting up. Her eyes starring at both of us. A solid gold. Her lips are dry and her muscles rigid and tight. Jaw set and stone. She gives us a glare and opens her mouth. But its not her voice.
"Im coming. And Im coming for her."
Dinah lunges forward, golden eyes locked on Camila. Her hands wrap around her throat and Camz shrieks. They slam into the wall their faces inches apart. Camila is losing air fast and when I know shes about to pass out Dinahs grip loosens. Lightning strikes out side and the smell of burning lemons hits the air.
The gold drains from Dinahs eyes and she collpases on the ground.
