My body stiffens.
Kill her.
"Its for her own good. She acts like shes okay but she isnt." The Queen says sadly. "You dug her her grave. Now you must put her in it."
Kill her.
"Shes miserable." Says the King. "She wants her home. Her family. Broken promises Dinah. They are yours."
Kill her.
My hand trembles as I take the knife. She isnt happy. Im not enough. All shes ever wanted is to go home. After I promised. I promised. And now she cant go home. Because of me. I hold the knife over her heart.
"Release her. Shes so sad. She cant go home Dinah. Its your fault. Now you need to make it right." The Queen whispers in my ear.
Blood roaring in my ears, eyes filled with tears.
Kill her.
The faint sucking of a lolipop.
When I turn around it falls from her mouth. My sister leans against the tree. The smirk wiped from her face. The lolipop making her siren powers take affect. I stand and wave my hand through the King and Queen.
Their images fade and I turn toward my sister. She winks at me and I throw the knife. But shes no longer there. Her eyes still sparkle in the light. The eyes that arent there. I run a hand through my hair and look back to Karla.
But she isnt there.
