Chapter 53

Emilio's POV

It's been 3 days since I last saw Aria, I feel as though it's kinda weird between us since I kissed her. I just need to know that she's okay and whether or not she still feels the same way I do.

I just need to find a way to get to her.

I then got an idea. I ran upstairs and knocked on Ivan's door.

Emilio:Tu hermano (Yo bro)
Ivan:¿Qué? (What?)

I walked into his room and he was sat on his bed watching a film.

Emilio:¿Puedo tomar prestado su teléfono para enviar un mensaje a Aria? Ella no me está respondiendo (Can I borrow your phone to message Aria? She's not answering me)
Ivan:Por supuesto (sure)

Ivan then gave me his phone. I walked back into my room and sat on my bed.

Aria
Hey. It's Ivan, could we meet up?

I waited a few minutes and then she finally replied.

Sure. Where?

Aria
Starbucks, in 20 minutes

Great. I'll be there

I found it a bit weird that Aria would answer Ivan and not me. But I guess I'll just have to find out soon.

I got off my bed and got changed into a red tee, black ripped jeans and black trainers (outfit up top). I looked in the mirror and did my hair.

I checked the time on my watch 11:15, I have 10 minutes to get to Starbucks. It shouldn't be that hard, it's only about a 5 minute walk.

I walked out my bedroom and went downstairs. I grabbed an apple from the kitchen and opened the front door.

I walked for 5 minutes until I got to Starbucks, I then saw Aria sat outside with a muffin on the table whilst she was on her phone.

I got behind her and tapped her left shoulder. She turned around and smiled at me.

Aria:Hey Ivan
Emilio:Urm......actually
Aria:Emilio?
Emilio:Yeah.....

She soon dropped her smile.

Emilio:It was me who messaged you from Ivan's phone
Aria:Why?
Emilio:Do you mind if I sit so I can explain?
Aria:Go ahead

I smiled and sat across from her.

Aria:Shoot
Emilio:Okay...Well the reason I messaged you was because you've been ignoring me since the other day and I got worried that I did something wrong
Aria:No, you didn't. I've just been really confused and needed time to myself
Emilio:Oh.......Okay

I looked down and started playing with my fingers.

Aria:Look Emilio

I looked up at her and listened to watch she said.

Aria:The other day confused me. I mean you randomly kissed me as I was about to leave.
Emilio:I understand that, I just have one question
Aria:Which is?
Emilio:Do you still have feelings for me?

Aria's POV

Emilio:Do you still have feelings for me?

I didn't know what to say. He left me speechless.

Do I tell him that I do?

I sighed and looked down at me phone.

Aria:Yes but -
Emilio:I've got a feeling this isn't gonna end well
Aria:I do have feelings for you, however I don't think we can go back to how we were. I mean you didn't trust me and believe me when I told you I didn't kiss AJ
Emilio:So what does that mean for us?
Aria:I guess we'll just have to be friends for now and see what goes on from there

I'll admit that broke me inside a bit. Looking at his face made me feel worse, I can tell that he doesn't like the idea. But what else am I supposed to do.

Emilio:I guess that makes sense
Aria:I am sorry Emilio

I'm thinking of ending this book soon but I just don't have an idea on how to do it.
