One week after the teams sleepover, Gibbs stood upon Donald Mallards front step and rang the doorbell. Seconds later, the large white door opened.
"Ah, Jethro. I'm glad you made it here. Please, come on in." Ducky greeted.
"Hey Duck, thanks for meeting with me."
Gibbs and Ducky walked into Ducky's kitchen and Gibbs sat down at the table.
"Can I get you anything to drink Jethro, coffee or tea?"
"A cup of coffee would be great Ducky, thanks."
Ducky began to boil a pot of water, and shortly after set a cup of coffee in front of Gibbs, and sat down with his own cup of tea.
"So, not that I'm not pleased to have you, but I'd like to know what prompted this Sunday morning visit?" Ducky asked.
"I have some questions, and I need some help."
"Regarding?" Ducky took a sip of his tea.
        "Eleanor."
The Scot leaned back in his chair. "Listen Jethro, um, I know that I'm a doctor but perhaps these questions would be better answered by the Director, or Abigail..."
Gibbs chuckled.
"No Duck, not those kind of questions."
Ducky sighed and let out a nervous chuckle.
"Ah good, you had me worried there for a minute. So how is our young Eleanor doing?"
"She's doing really good Ducky, I'm really happy to see how she's been settling in. Her and Tony are quickly becoming attached at the hip." Gibbs smiled. "The whole team has really embraced having her around. She starts school one week from tomorrow, so I'm hoping that will help her adjust more." He raved.
"That's wonderful to hear Jethro. She is always welcome to stop by over here for a cup of tea. It's nice to have someone else of Scottish heritage around." The old man said with a smile.
Gibbs smiled back.
"Thank you Ducky, I'll be sure to let her know. That actually brings me to the reason I've come here today. The other day I saw Eleanor dancing in her room, and she told me that it was Scottish highland dancing."
"Oh my goodness, that's wonderful! I've always had such a fondness for the highland dancers, such strength and grace." Ducky cut off Gibbs. "You know, I once knew a dancer who-"
"Ducky."
"Ah, sorry Jethro, I seem to be getting ahead of myself. What exactly is it you need from me?" He asked.
"Well the thing is, I'm hoping to get Eleanor back into this, but I'm clueless. I was hoping you might be willing to help me find a studio for her, and if she's gonna compete I know she'll need a kilt."
"I would love to!" Ducky exclaimed. "I'll help with whatever you need. Once we find her a studio, she will need a pair of ghillies right away. Once she starts competing, she will need her kilt, an aboyne for her national dances, and eventually jig and hornpipe outfits as well.."
As Ducky rambled on about some of the finer points of highland dance costumes, Gibbs inwardly chuckled.
"What on earth have I gotten myself into?" He thought with a smile.
