Duncan's P.O.V

---------------------------------

I woke early, I rolled over and grabbed my phone.

Half three in the morning?

I groaned and pulled my duvet back over my arms, the heating only just starting to kick in. I sighed as I thought about work, recording, fan-mail, editing. I closed my eyes again until the familier click of the heating filled my ears, I threw off the duvet and gingerly put my feet on the cold floor and hissed through gritted teeth as I kicked my laptop.

The computer woke up, I went to turn it off but paused as I noticed the message icon. I clicked on it and raised an eyebrow as I read through the e-mail.

I sighed as I finished reading and typed up a quick reply to Sjin and sent it. I grabbed a t-shirt off the floor and pulled it on, having ended up sleeping in my jeans. I wondered downstairs, grabbing my glasses off the kitchen table and putting them on. The world came into focus and I blinked. I grabbed my hoodie and zipped it up, warding off the morning chill.

I pulled on my trainers and tied my laces (neon purple and neon blue today), I ran upstairs and grabbed my phone. I quickly remembered to shut down my laptop and belted downstairs. I stopped at the door and looked down the hall. Was I really sacrificing the warmth of my house and bed at four in the morning to go for a walk?

Yes you are, my voice chuckled. I shook my head and unlocked  the door, the frosty January air hitting my in the face. I shivered. Closing my door behind me I stood out in the cold sunlight, I ran a hand through my hair and started walking. I was headed towards YogTowers to get ahead on my list of things to do, I wondered what Sjin had got excited about yesterday. He was running through the offices like a hyperactive kid with the same insane grin. I groaned as I thought of facing another day of hyperactive Sjin, I could cope with Simon being like that but Sjin? I blocked out the world, thinking of ways to calm down Sjin.

I looked up and I was stood infront of YogTowers. I sucked in a breath and looked at my phone.

Half four in the morning? I gasped. Well Simon will be surprised.

I pushed open the glass door and walked into the elevator, my fingers going red after being exposed to the cold air. I pressed the button for the seventh floor and waited, crappy elevator music playing, I just rolled my eyes. The elevator jerked to a stop and the doors opened I stepped out into the coridoor and crept into the break room. I pinched a box of jaffa cakes and made myself some coffee before stolling back to my office. I loaded up minecraft and started recording.
