Hannah's P.O.V

----------------------------

I laughed at Simon as he pulled yet another face behind Lewis' back during the adgenda meeting. I had signaled for him to stop about half an hour ago but he kept going. Lewis turned around and Simon acted innocent, nobody could restrain the giggles this time, even Lewis chuckled slightly. I looked over to Sjin's seat, next to Sips and Martyn. Where was he? I looked at my watch and I raised an eyebrow at how late Sjin was.

Five to eight and he's not here, this is not like Sjin, I though, it seemed that Lewis and Sips thought the same but kept it quiet. I heard heavy footsteps and Sjin came bursting in, his face a little red from God knows what and his beard was bristled like it did when he was smiling. I laughed at him and Lewis pretended to look serious.

"Speak of the devil." Lewis clapped and Sjin jumped guiltily, he looked over his shoulder at the door and mock bowed towards Lewis. I could see both of them straining to maintain a straight face.

"I bring a visitor your highness." Sjin mocked, Lewis burst out laughing and I heard a quiet shuffle from behind the door. If this was one of Sjin's plans to prove that the ender-girl existed, I was not impressed but give him an A* for effort at eight in the morning. I smiled gently.

"You know you can come in, nobody will bit your head off, they've all eaten breakfast!" Sjin laughed to who ever waited behind the door, there was quiet mumbleing as everyone waited and their jaws dropped when the stranger stepped from behind the door.

She was tall, very tall. Mousse brown hair covered her right eye and she had such pale grey eyes, dark lashes giving her a slightyl sleepy look accompanied by her translucent skin. She had long fingers and hands, the fingers ending in well bitten finger nails. She wore nothing but black, the code only broken by the purple laces on her trainers and the purple ender eyes on her beanie. She had a satchel slung over her shoulder and she kept looking at the floor. I noticed she had head phones (also black) resting on her collar bone. She looked sort of intimidating but gentle at the same time, like we had an enderman in the office but it had the AI taken out. Like the enderman had been re-programmed to be shy. I stood up, Sjin had his hand on her arm in a friendly way and seemed to be trying to reassure her. I walked over to her and offered out a hand, slowly, afraid to disturb the peace that had settled around the visitor.

She looked up at me through her lashes, the eyes intelligent but also wary. Afraid aswell, like I might smack her in the face with the same hand. She gingerly took my hand and shook it, I smiled, I saw her arms relax a little.

"Welcome to the mad house!" I laughed, the traces of a smile dancing in her eyes. Lewis shook himself out of the trance that had been instigated and walked round the table to offer a handshake when the girl went flying. She forward rolled across the carpet and thudded against the wall, I swung towards the source of the magically flying girl and saw Duncan sprawled across the floor. Nobody dared breath, since the girl was looking round for the cause of her brief and sudden flight, Duncan looked bemused as to why he was on the floor and Lewis looked pissed off at Duncan. I heard a snort and looked at Sjin, he held a hand over his mouth to stop him from laughing though his shoulders kept vibrating. Finally he burst out laughing, unable to controll the hysteria anylong. Most looked confused, but Lewis and Simon were trying not to smile. Sjin walked over to the girl and offered her a hand, she took it without thought and brushed herself off.

"You have a habit of getting knocked over by youtubers don't you?" Sjin laughed, the poor girl blushed but giggled. She looked around for the youtuber that sent her flying, Duncan was still looking around the room in confusion. Her eyes locked onto him and she went stiff. She looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, her eyes wide and alert. Body shaking. I reached out a hand towards her but she dived away from it, landing on the sofa and forward rolling into a little corner under a book shelf. I couldn't help but laugh as she yelped:

"Hide me!"

Nobody resisted the temptation to laugh, Duncan had picked himself up and was still looking for the girl he had knocked into. He picked up an empty mug off the floor and several empty boxes of jaffa cakes, I noticed the girl trying to sneak out behind him, she watched him like he was dangerous and she so nearly was out of the door when I gave in to some mischief.

"You know Duncan won't bite you if you say 'Hi'," I chirp. Patting the bemused Duncan on the head."he's not a wild animal or anything! But he has been recording since four this morning!"

Duncan spun around, as he did so the girl dropped into a crouch. Her leg slipped from beneath her and she knocked Duncan's leg out from beneath him aswell. Not expecting to be sweep kicked, he landed with a heavy thud onto his back. The girl had landed on her backside, her face bright red and filled with shame. Nobody wasn't laughing apart from the girl, she buried her head in her hands and seemed to wilt. Duncan propped himself up and offered a friendly hand out towards the girl, she looked at it and shook her head. She picked herself up and brushed herself down for the second time that morning. Lewis looked concerned but Duncan was smiling sweetly at her.

"I don't know about me being dangerous," He laughed. "it seems like I'm going to have to watch out for you!"

I noticed the girl flinch, only slightly but it still happened. She looked hurt though nobody seemed to notice what that comment had done to her. She murmered something to Sjin and he pointed down the hall. I made an excuse and followed her into the bathroom. One of the cubicles was locked, I knocked and the door opened. The girls jacket was removed and her hair swept from her face, revealing three jagged scars covering her right eye though it seemed her sight wass intact. Her beanie was on top of her bag and her eyes were red from crying, then I noticed the blood.

A thick line of blood dripped from her arm onto some toilet paper, the razor blade glittered evily from the floor and I noticed that thick scars ran up and down her arms, some fresh and still healing. I chocked and she turned away from me. She reached for the razor but I put my foot ontop of it, she looked at me. Hurt being the only emotion on her sweet features. I hugged her, hugged her tight as I sobbed into her shoulder. She cut herself because of a misunderstood comment. I sobbed harder and she just sat there. I brought myself together and produced the medical kit from underneath one of the sinks, I applied a dressing and bandages. Silence creating a barrier between us.

"I'm Alice." She whispered, her gaze still locked onto the floor. I nearly chocked again, she told me her name. How many people knew what she did? Then it clicked, it wasn't just a misunderstoof comment, it was a misunderstood comment from her idol. It made sense why she wanted to hide when she saw Duncan, she was probably a major fan and didn't want to say something stupid but it doing that he hurt her with out realising. I nodded at her and continued to bandage her wrist, afraid of what might happen when I see Duncan....
