A Lifetime of Play

Life is essentially like a playground. No, not what you do on it or what the rules are, more like how everything works.

Swings for example it gets pushed and ascends into the air but it always falls back towards the ground. In life you have your high points in similar contexts to the swing being up in the air, all it takes is a little push but sometimes you fall back on the ground. Back to the start. It's a continuous cycle of ups and downs.

A see-saw. One side goes up and vice versa. In life there's going to be people  higher than you and there's going to be people lower than you but the same people in either status could always fall to yours. It's balanced in a sense.

The monkey bars. Strength is used to cross on to the other side. You have to have strength in life in order to get through it, just like you use the strength in you arms to get across to the end of the monkey bars.

The slides. Going to the top and gliding down to the bottom, sometimes in a spiral. Sometimes, in life, you be at the top but then soon slowly you might fall down back to the bottom and climb back up if you are willing to.
