A few days later

Brendon paced around in his room, trying to figure out when would be the best time to ask Ryan.
He thought about asking him yesterday, but so much panic rose in him that caused him to not ask at all.
He wanted today to be the day he'd ask.

Now, he was waiting for Ryan to come home from wherever he went.
As every second passed, Brendon's anxiety got worse.

It wasn't a big question, it wasn't like he was asking to marry him. That would be huge, but it was instead a small question.

Brendon jumped as he heard the front door open.

"I'm back!" He heard Ryan say.
Slowly, Brendon walked into the livingroom.

"You look like something's bothering you" Ryan said as soon as he saw Brendon.

"Well, yeah. Something's on my mind" Brendon awkwardly laughed.

"What's up?"

"Um...w-well you see, it's stupid I'm being like this for asking this one thing, but we've been together for a while, you know. So I was wondering if we could do something special, like a date?"

Ryan smiled and kissed Brendon's forehead, "of course we can"

"Ok, I've be scared for what your answer would be" Brendon emitted.

"Thought I'd say no?"

"No, thought you'd say for me to bring me the "Sprite"." They both laughed.

"You're too amazing, so when is this date?"

"Is tonight too soon?"

"It never is too soon"

"Bren, I love you" Ryan once again kissed Brendon as they hugged.

"I love you too, Ry"
