Ryan's POV

I stood up from the kitchen table, and walked over to Dallon. He's always such a positive guy, how would he even take this in? He might be accepting, but there's a chance he might not.

"Hey, Dal, can we talk?"

"I mean, can I?" We both laughed. He's so cool, and calm. What would he think?

"Ok, fine. That's your speciality, correcting people"

"And being there for them. But in all seriousness, what's up?"

"Ok, hold on.." I led Dallon towards the couch and we both sat. I took a deep breath and looked at Dallon as he looked back at me. I thought to myself, this'll be the last time I look at him without him knowing.

"I'm honestly afraid to tell you" was the first thing I said. "I don't know why I can't just tell you. Whenever I think it, it's so simple. But when I want to say it outloud, it's the most difficult thing in the world."

"Is there anything I could do to make it easier?" Dallon asked.

I smiled. "Why must you be so nice? You're fine how you are, I just need to think how I want to say this."

"Take your time"

I closed my eyes for a second, thinking of every possible outcome from this conversation. Dallon seems as if he wouldn't judge, but you can say that about anyone.

I opened my eyes, and frowned. "I...I don't want to be..well, me. It just feels wrong. I don't want to be..." I struggled to find the right words.

"Ryan?" Dallon spoke. I looked up at him. "Are you, perhaps, trying to tell me you want to be a girl instead of a guy?" He questioned as I looked back down, and nodded.

"Aw, Ryan" Dallon hugged me tightly. I hugged him back, happy and relieved that he didn't judge me, yet helped me.

"You are a beautiful human being, ok kiddo. I'm proud that you told me. Does anyone else know?"

"Yeah" I mumbled. "Bren, but that's it."

"Plan to tell anyone else?"

"I want to tell Melanie and Tyler soon, but I don't know when I want to tell everyone else."

"Tell everyone else whenever you feel comfortable. You don't have to rush it" Dallon smiled. "When do you want to tell Mel and Ty?"

I thought for a second before saying "today." It surprised me, but I did want to tell them soon.

"I'm really proud of you" Dallon said once again before hugging me once more. "Are you going to tell them in person?" He asked.
I nod while thinking. I might tell Mel first, she's never busy odd enough.

Brendon then came out into the livingroom with us and smiled. They both kept telling me how they were really proud of me and stuff. It felt great, honestly, to know that they supported me 100%.

Dallon left about 30 minutes later, and I was ready to tell Melanie.
