Okay, so, my laptop broke, and I hate typing on my phone. So, in addition to only updating once every two months, it might be a little longer.
The idea for this chapter goes to a commenter. You probably know who you are.

You remained at the Davenport household for a few more weeks. It had gotten calm again and that was slightly terrifying. Mr. Davenport had done multiple tests on your chip, going deeper and deeper into the mainframe to try and find some altercation, but came across nothing.
If only he'd found it.
"Hey, Adam, are you feeling alright?" asked Tasha as she placed a plate of pancakes in front of him for breakfast.
"Hm?" He looked up at her, snapping back into reality. "Yeah. I'm fine."
Except he wasn't. While Mr. Davenport had been checking your chip, Adam had been training and planning with Marcus. They wouldn't have to hurt Chase. Not directly, anyway.
Tasha could tell that there was still something... off about her eldest step-son. She'd bring it up with Donald later, though.
But later would be too late.

"Hey," Chase said, walking into the living room where the rest of his family was. Only...
Only you weren't there, and Adam was looking suspiciously pale - more so than this morning.
"Has anybody seen (Y/n)?"
The pieces suddenly clicked on everybody's mind. You hadn't been there all day, and the last time that anyone ever seen you was the previous day, just before the entire family went to bed. Adam had been acting a lot more suspicious. And...
And Mr. Davenport had needed to do one last test. One final test, and every single square inch of your chip's software would have been examined.
Everyone knew that fact.
Chase felt it first. The blow to his heart. The dread and fear and anger and sadness in a cocktail gushing through his veins. He felt the blood leave his cheeks. He wasn't sure if he screamed or not. And if he fell to his knees he wasn't sure because the room was spinning around in circles.
You were gone. Again.
Adam looked at his family. They were all distracted by Chase's reaction, which gave him the perfect chance to sneak out.
However, that plan was soon dashed when Mr. Davenport realized his other child was leaving the house, sneaking out.
"Adam, stop!" shouted Mr. Davenport, diving after the male.
Something shattered as Adam's back landed on the coffee table. Mr. Davenport had spent a lot of time training, but Adam was one of the strongest men in the world. If Adam got him pinned down...
"Someone, the serum!" Mr. Davenport yelled as Adam pinned the scientist down.
Back when everybody's chips had been optimized, Mr. Davenport had spent a long time on a side project; a serum, potent enough that it could knock an adult male rhino out for at least 12 hours with a large enough dosage. Dialing it down to human proportions, it could knock out Adam for at least a day with a small dosage, which was saying something, as Adam was a large man.
While Mr. Davenport had gotten offers to buy the serum, he never sold it. It was made for one reason, and one reason only: to subdue a rogue bionic. He had given it to the "Watchers" stationed with the groups internationally.
Chase was the first one to react in his haze. He shot up, the anger motivating his movements. He reached for the latch behind one of Eddie's screens, using the keypad and grabbing the syringe and bottle of serum. After filling the needle with the serum, he looked to the fighting males.
His father was in an uphill battle against the strongest man in the world, otherwise known as his brother.
For almost one second, he hesitated. However, he remembered what had just been revealed, and he knew that Adam needed to be conscious so they'd be able to save you.
He let some of the serum exit the bottle, leaving just enough to subdue him for three hours at least.
Diving into the fight, Adam threw a punch at him, of which gave him the chance to stick the syringe into his arm and press down, the serum filling the big man's veins.
His body went limp, eyes fluttering shut before collapsing on Chase.
"Why did you lower the dosage?!" shouted Mr. Davenport, standing up and moving Adam's body off of his wimpy son.
"He is the only one out of all of us that knows where (Y/n) is. I'm sorry, Mr. Davenport, but I had to. For the sake of the person I've lost too many times."
~~~*~~~
You felt the familiar feeling of a mattress under your body. A smile grazing your cheeks, you felt the mattress beside you, finding a body next to you. Assuming that it was Chase, - who you'd been sleeping next to - you snuggled into their body, breathing in happily through your nose.
And then your eyes opened like you'd just been shocked because this person didn't smell like Chase's familiar scent of cinnamon and body spray. No, it smelled like-
"Awake, babe?" asked Rocky, tightening his grip on your waist, pulling you closer to him.
"Rocky?" your baffled voice asked, tugging yourself away from him. "Wha- why am I here?" You hadn't tapped into your bionics in too long, but you still remembered how to do it. They... they weren't working.
"Having troubles?" he inquired, voice too sinister to be playful. "In about... oh, I don't know, one minutes' time, you will be under our control."
You swallowed hard, no matter how hard it was to do so. "Who's the other one?" you managed to say.
"Guess who, sweetheart?" said another voice, another, very sickeningly familiar voice.
The name brought a sour taste to your tongue. Marcus.
Chase's eyes remained on his blood brother as he waited for him to wake up. Mr. Davenport had locked up the liquor cabinet, so Chase couldn't try to get his mind off of everything. See, he knew that drinking and eating in general wasn't a good outlet to get his mind off of things, but he wasn't thinking right.
Adam's hazel eyes fluttered open and looked at Chase.
"Good," Chase said, "You're awake." He stood up and held up the remote control in his hand.
"You were seriously so stupid to knock me out, but not tie me up? I thought you were the smartest man in the world." The taller man tried sitting up, but was stopped by Chase pressing a button, causing for an electric shock to run through his body.
"OW! Chase!"
The younger let go of the button. "Every time you refuse to answer a question of mine, or answer it sarcastically, you get a zap. And don't even think about lying. I have Mr. Davenport in another room monitoring all of your answers through a lie detector. He will send me a signal that you're being untruthful. You will get a shock."
"You're bluffing," accused Adam.
That was partially true, for the record. Mr. Davenport wasn't monitoring their conversation, but Adam was connected to a lie detector. Thing was, the signal went right to him, and not through someone else, which might be better, actually.
"Just answer my questions and you'll never have to find out."
