You were lost when I found you and I opened your eyes to the world

Are you my friend?
Would you follow me to the end
Or would you cut me off like the others?
When you fall in here to catch you
But when I fall what would you do?
Is this how our lives are meant to be?
Where I follow you blindly
But you can't see what I see
Your lost let me find you and guide to the light
But first trust me and we'll escape the dark alive
By nightfall you follow like fireflies
But I still sense guilt and deceit as I gaze into your eyes
